Boasting a bar and views of lake, Rivalago B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Located 48 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Lago Maggiore Bay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a private beach area and pool with a view. I liked everything about this property from saying hi at the reception until leaving the property. It was really amazing. Located in Cannobio, in a historic building, 14 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Ca Meison is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a private beach area and free bikes. Everything was prefect. The house, the breakfast, the location, Francesca and her Mom were outstanding and nothing was too much to ask.

Located in Cannobio, 48.1 km from Lugano, Alessia Home provides a garden and free WiFi. The location is wonderful, everything within easy walking distance, quiet at night. Well equipped, a great comfortable bed, great towels, private parking spot which helps a lot. The terrace outside is cosy and relaxed to sit and enjoy a wine or coffee. We will come back with the greatest pleasure!

Excellent place, comfortable and newly renovated room, perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Very quiet place, just a 10 minutes walk to the city center and the train station. Recommended!!!

Wonderful location, we loved the hotel and the family who run the hotel were wonderful and friendly! The breakfast was AMAZING!

The view from our room was spectacular. Our hosts were very accommodating and gave us tips on the best restaurants in the area.

Offering lake views, Castello Ripa Baveno is an accommodation located in Baveno, 2.3 km from Mottarone. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a fully equipped kitchen. It is a fantastically modern setting built within a rustic castle. The apartment has incredible views to the lake and all the modern amenities over two floors. There is a private, protected car park and an elevator to take you to the top. The kitchen was stocked with oils and spices and there was a starter bottle of water and some candy available. There was a washer for clothes with detergent and a washer for dishes with detergent. Baveno was only a short walk away.
