The highlight for me was definitely the food - the resort has several on-site chefs that served us a variety of local cuisines, and every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. The resort also offered a range of activities and excursions for guests to enjoy, including snorkeling, diving,dhow rides,There is truly something for everyone here, whether you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation or an adventure-filled getaway. Overall, I highly recommend Rafiki Jua to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Watamu. Offering a garden and sea view, Nyumba ya Afrika is set in Watamu, 1.4 km from Papa Remo Beach and 1.9 km from Watamu Bay Beach. Excellent location for tranquility and a very good beach within walking distance. All the food provided by the chef was EXCEPTIONAL! The grounds and pool were very well maintained. Peaceful, charming and very well managed. We had the room right at the top, so you'd have to be nimble!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a balcony, Nadia&Ale House - Maisha Resort is situated in Watamu. A fairytale day! Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling staff who escorted us to our second floor apartment. Here we found ourselves on a huge balcony, where we then dined with a view of the pool and the starry sky. The apartment was perfect: clean and with a nice flower arrangement on the bed to welcome us. The location is fantastic: just cross the road to get to one of the most beautiful beaches in Watamu and in less than 5 minutes by motorbike or 15 on foot from the city center. In the staff there was even a cook, that based on our choice, made us a typical and cheap local dinner. To end our night we had a swim in the pool looking at the stars...a very special moment. We can only recommend Nadia & Ale house to everyone to be spoiled in a fabulous location.
