Clics Coliving & Coworking in Hiriketiya provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodation is 700 metres from Hiriketiya Beach. I ended up staying at Clics for about 6 weeks and had an incredible time. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and common areas are clean, tidy and well designed. The location is perfect and the co-working office is great, as are the staff. The real highlight is the vibe though - as its a small hostel with many people staying for more than a few days it really feels like a family and there is a great sense of community :)

Set 600 metres from Hiriketiya Beach, Wilson's Place offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden. It is situated 2 km from Kudawella Beach and features a 24-hour front desk. We had the most amazing stay. Rumesh has lovingly, by his own hands renovated the 4 rooms beautifully. Massive comfy bed, fantastic wet room/bathroom. No real hot water but that was no issue. No air-con but the ceiling fans are really effective so was no issue at all. We were even allowed into to the family kitchen for a Sri Lankan cooking lesson

Staff is very friendly, they helped us even when we lost our key, and came back at 3 am (thank you for that). nice place for this money

Situated just 700 metres from Dickwella Beach, B & B CHARM features accommodation in Dickwella with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. We loved our stay at B & B Charm! The rooms are new and clean, the owners are friendly, and the location was perfect with a 5-10 minute walk to either Hiriketiya or Dikwella beach. Highly recommend!

Located 400 metres from Thalaramba Beach, Casa Mira Boutique Villa offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio and a swimming pool. Amazing experience. After a long drive we were met with a warm welcome, glasses of cold juice, and a pre-air-conditioned room with a lovely smell. The room had everything to make you feel at home: tasteful decor, comfortable beds, AC, plenty of storage space, a bright portable lamp to get you through brief power cuts was a lovely touch. Everything’s VERY clean. Any questions/issues were resolved momentarily. Special mention goes to breakfast - BEST breakfast you can get on this island. Huge thank you to the hosts for providing such a great experience <3

Numuriņā ir viss nepieciešamais, tostarp AC. Īpaši patika tā izolācija, jo pat pēc 2-3 stundām, atgriežoties no ikdienas gaitām, istabiņa joprojām bija vēsa (AC visu to laiku bija izslēgts). Pagalmā var gadīties pa kādam ziņkārīgam kaķim un mērkaķim. Ir pietiekami plaša stāvvieta motorollerim vai tuktukam. Saimnieki ļoti laipni un atsaucīgi, piemēram, iedeva lielisku padomu apmeklēt vietējo pasākumus netālu esošajā budistu templī. Te var arī garšīgi paēst brokastis vai pats virtuvē pagatavot maltīti.

Featuring a private beach area, Three Gables Boutique Villa is located in Mirissa, 4.3 km from Whale Watching Mirissa. This was by far our favorite hotel experience ever. We travel a lot and love to stay in special places and Three Gables was perfect from every point of view possible. We found this place through a friend who saw we were traveling through Sri Lanka and reached out to make sure we would stay here before we left: it’s that memorable of a place that our friend really wanted to make sure we stay here. He was so right! The location was stunning; the hotel is on the beach, and we could see sunrise and sunset and have beautiful walks. The room was perfect, it had all the comforts we could wish for. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka by far and there was so much attention to detail. The best part of the hotel, and which made all the difference, was the impeccable service. If I could give this hotel 6 out of 5 stars in service, it would still be an understatement. Dinuka, our food & beverage manager, took excellent care of us and was always reachable. Suresh, the general manager, ensured we had a beautiful stay. Chef Nalaka, who created most of the fantastic food and was with whom we did a cooking class, was incredible. Chaturanga and the rest of the staff were always attentive and cared for us.

Situated just 1.3 km from Devinuwara Beach, Light house beach home features accommodation in Matara with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Loved it here! Off the beaten track, amazing scenery, local friendly vibes, best hammock in SL. Totally love that the owners here clean up the beach every day and they are environmentally aware. Also very helpful with transport options. I really felt happy here, it was one of my favourite places in all of SL. Thank you guys, keep up the creativity and hospitality, you are the best!
