Unwind has been much more than just a hotel, it has been a home away from home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and you get amazing views of the trees and the ocean from the top terrace. Food is great (don't forget to try the local breakfast, it's very good) and they provide anything you could need during your stay. The room was fabulous (we stayed on the ground floor) and the bed was comfy. The hotel is very close to the tourist beach which is extremely convenient if you plan on spending your days in the sun. We also felt extremely safe there, so much that we never remembered to lock the door to our room! Most importantly, the best part of Unwind is definitely the team of people working there. Nilanka has been a wonderful host who has made every moment of our stay memorable, he has an excellent attitude and will always assist you with a smile and give you the best tips and find the best options that will suit you for your holiday. He has done everything we could ask for and more and has made our stay a luxury experience, greatly exceeding every expectation we had when we arrived to Maldives. He took photos and videos for us, he made sure we got everywhere on time and that we were protected against mosquitoes, he got us fresh coconuts to try and him and the rest of the team even organized a wonderful romantic dinner on the terrace where we had the most amazing grilled fish and curry. He was so helpful that we feel like we had a friend next to us the whole time. We also have to thank Janaka for keeping everything clean and working perfectly in our room and being there for us when we needed anything. One of the doors to the pool in our room wasn't working properly when we got there and he got it fixed on the same day without us having to ask for it :) He also decorated our bed with flowers which was a beautiful and nice surprise.

Vacanza Mathiveri er staðsett í Mathiveri á Ari Atoll-svæðinu, 100 metrum frá Stingray-ströndinni og 300 metrum frá Casa Mia Maldives-ströndinni. Very nice and clean place with awesome breakfast. The guests can rent kayaks for free! Nice inner garden with coconut trees, spacious room. Take into consideration that Mathiveri is an inhabited island. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, because the mosque is only a few meters away and in the early morning the prayers are loud.

Thoddoo Haisha inn, Maldives er staðsett í Thoddoo, nálægt Thoddoo-ströndinni og býður upp á gistingu með ókeypis afnot af reiðhjólum, einkastrandsvæði, garð og verönd. From the very start, we felt welcome. The rooms are clean, modern, and have the little touches that make this a comfortable place to stay. The whole interior was peaceful and its own little haven. Dinner was delicious! Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night, but we would return in a heartbeat.

Fairytale Inn er staðsett í Thoddoo á Ari Atoll-svæðinu og Thoddoo-strönd er í innan við 800 metra fjarlægð. This is a very beautiful place, cozy and calm. I liked it very much. There is a cafe nearby and not far from the beach, they provide free bicycles

Tides Dhigurah er staðsett 100 metra frá Dhigurah North West-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. was fairly good location and the breakfast was excellent. the staff was friendly and picked us up at the pier and took us back when it was time to go.

Green Leaf Guest House - Omadhoo er staðsett í Omadhoo og býður upp á 3 stjörnu gistirými með garði. Great breakfast, nice a/c room, free access to lounge chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, SUP, and a rooftop stargazing bed. The host was great he gave us a full tour of the island and even set up a free dinner on the beach for us to celebrate Valentine's Day. He really goes above and beyond expectations. The restaurant on site was the best on the island and cheap.

Ithaa Dhigurah er staðsett í Dhigurah, 100 metra frá Dhigurah North West-ströndinni, og státar af garðútsýni. Everything was just amazing! I think that if you decide to go to a local island, it is only fair to go and mix with the locals! And this guesthouse is just perfect for this! In few minutes you are at the local beach and the port and you can see a beautiful sunrise! If you turn left, you can reach the bikini beach within less than 10 min and trust me, although it's hot, it is a beautiful walk, passing through the local houses, the school or directly through the beach. So location for me was a 10/10! The guesthouse is amazing, it is super clean and the rooms are spacious and nice, plus they are super well equipped. It really looks like a hotel honestly! I chose the halfboard pension, so breakfast and dinner (once I got there) and I've always eaten super well and could choose from different options. Finally, the staff is really nice and attentive! A huge thanks to Maumoon for teaching me some Maldivian useful words and for organizing everything and always providing the right info! To Mekey who was the best guide ever - I've been on snorkeling excursions in many places and Mekey is super attentive and will always bring you to see all the beautiful fish there is + the Mantas were just wow. To Pathum for making all my breakfasts and dinners fun, for the good talks and for his professional attitude! To the chef for always making me eat super well! And to Mujib for all the room decorations (he's the best) and for always making my room super clean. Again thank you to all the staff, I will definitely come back here if I come to Dhigurah again!

Dhangethi INN er staðsett í Dhangethi og er í innan við 100 metra fjarlægð frá Dhangethi-ströndinni en það býður upp á flýtiinnritun og -útritun, ofnæmisprófuð herbergi, einkastrandsvæði, ókeypis WiFi... I did a multi island trip for a few price points and the budget part of my trip at Dhangethi Inn was a standout in large part due to Tholal. I came for the marine life and freediving with Tholal was the biggest highlight of my Maldives trip. His underwater videography skills are top notch and I got a wonderful compilation video of myself with so many bucket list pelagics 🥰 (and for free too?!) Snorkelling masks and fins rental are free. His videos are free. He'll take you out on a tour of the house reef and for a snorkel around the island for free. He'll take you to a nearby sandbank for a fraction of the cost of what resorts will charge you. Tholal is soooo generous with his time and will do his best to make your wishlist come true. There are only a few rooms at the Inn so he'll do his best to meet the needs of all his guests. Some activities e.g. snorkelling with whalesharks require a speedboat rental so will only be affordable if there are more people so if you're going during an off season I recommend staying for a few days at least to make sure you get the chance to tick everything off your list. (I had to wait for more guests to arrive on day 2 of my stay) Oh and for those who arent used to Muslim culture, just be aware this is a local island so dress conservatively, be respectful, and don't be surprised if you hear some songs or prayers from the nearby mosque :) BOOK NOW. SUPPORT THIS BEAUTIFUL MAN. IT'S WORTH IT.

Thoddoo White Sand Inn er staðsett í Thoddoo, 800 metra frá Thoddoo-ströndinni, og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými og einkastrandsvæði. The staff was super friendly, trustworthy, extremely well organized and helpful. Hussein was very attentive and made our holiday truly memorable and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable and the food fresh and healthy. We appreciated the option to use the bicycles, snorkeling gear and beach towels that were provided.
