El Flatheim es un agroturismo con encanto situado en el valle de Viksdalen. It was a surprising place. As a Heritage house, it mixes the old wooden houses style, with modern facilities as the bathroom. For the kids it was a really new and fun experience. The location if great, an "oasis" in the middle of the norwegian mountains. The owner was very helpful: as we got late for dinner or restaurants nearby, he explained where we could buy some goods, and let us use by our the kitchen and diningroom.

Highly recommended to stay at Perlen på solheim/Hyen. You will get fully equipped very clean house for maximum 6 persons that is located in wonderful place close to the lake! I'd say that it was our best experience in Norway during our 2 weeks vacation. Host was very kind and instructions were clear. It is not mentioned in profile but you will also get wi-fi, even Netflix if the weather is not good outside - we made a bbq and watched the movie once the weather changed :-)

Beautifully renovetad old house on preserved street. Good comfy bed and shower, well equipped kitchen with all you need. Parking is neer and free. Close to everything so location is perfect. Place is special and we lived it - added a second night.

A superb place to discover Norway, with all facilities in the house, a free access to the canoë below to enjoy the beautiful Hornindal lake and a nice barbecue patio. This house has a lot of charm, without direct neighborhood and is very peaceful. And the host is very sympathic. The perfect place to enjoy the beautiful nature of Norway all around (mountains, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls)
