Mike was a wonderful host—I will truly say he is the best we have ever had. He is kind, helpful and we really enjoyed speaking with him about so many things. I commented on a book he had finished reading and he insisted that I take it on my travels. I was also having credit card issues and he helped me sort those out with such a caring demeanour. A hot breakfast was cooked to order one day and on the other, he made sure we had food in our room so we could get an early start. As well, Wookie the little dog was such a cute, loving dog. If I could give Mike 11/10, I would. Thanks so much!

So wonderful to wake to such an amazing panorama. Brita and Heinz are exemplary hosts and are very welcoming and friendly. The room, bed, bathroom and shower are of the highest standard and perfectly presented. Breakfast was magnificent and served on the deck with more of those stunning views of the Bay.

We expected, based on previous reviews, that the apartment would be exceptionally well-appointed, with a great view from the living and bedrooms and that the owners have left no stone unturned in creating and maintaining a superior lodging experience. Our expectations were shattered.. Abri is in a class of it's own! My recommendation to anyone considering a stay in Paihia-- look no further and book here! Additionally, we had a luggage issue prior to arrival that the owner took care of for us while we were on a tour. Words simply cannot do justice to Abri... it is simply the best.

El Bay of Islands Beachhouse está situado entre árboles nativos de la playa de arena dorada de Sullivans, muy cerca del centro de Paihia, y ofrece departamentos de lujo con vistas a la playa y a las... Our stay at The Bay of Island Beachhouses in the All View Suite was everything we hoped for. The accommodation was very upmarket & the views were amazing. The pod coffee machine & the Weber barbecue were nice touches. I also appreciated being able to do a load of washing in the machine provided. Being able to access our apartment via our own elevator was a novel experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.
