Situated in Al Ḩadd, 2.2 km from Al Hadd Beach, Ras Al Hadd Orchid features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Sometimes the most difficult places to reach are the best. At the end of an abandoned runway lies a great guesthouse where the hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home. It is located near the beach where fishermen bring their catch to shore. If you so wish the owner will barbeque these fish for dinner for you. You can choose to relax in the Bedouin tent next to the guest house or take the half hour drive to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. And don’t be surprised if you spot a baby turtle near the guesthouse who took the wrong turn at the beach. In every way a great place to stay.

Desert Moments Glamping - full privacy is situated in Al Mintirib. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Salah - our host - is a really friendly and welcoming person invested in making the desert stay a unique and unforgettable experience. My wife and I literally had our best time and memories of Oman in Salah’s private camp! The camp is located in a different region than all the other touristic camps, which makes the desert experience and privacy even greater! The tents are very spacious and the beds are so comfortable. Moreover, Salah and his team were able to adapt to all our requests or wishes, but Salah also organized special surprises along our stay such as sunrise & sunset camel walks, evening Bedouin singers & dancers, and even more… Furthermore, we had at all time a large variety of delicious Omani specialities in abondance. I can say that the quality of materials, food, and services are way better than 5 stars hotels. Therefore, I highly recommend Desert Moments Glamping camp and will come back for sure with friends and family members in a very near future. A big thank you to Salah & his wonderful team!!!

Located within 2.5 km of Al Hadd Beach and 400 metres of Al Hadd Fort, Salem Fish Guest House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Al Ḩadd. We had the most wonderful stay with Salem. We immediately felt welcome and at home through Salem and Sanoos’s amazing hospitality - from constantly offering us chai and coffee to helping us with our laundry (which was so above and beyond - thank you Sanoos). Salem took us to the beach our first night which ended up being a magical experience - fishing for huge tuna out of the back of his boat with his brother, Walid, at sunset. We had the BBQ dinner with the fish we caught (must do) which was the freshest fish we’ve ever eaten! The next day, we had such an amazing time snorkeling with turtles (it was unbelievable), spotting them in the sea, and swimming in a calm cove. Easily one of our favorite experiences in Oman and our best stay in Oman. We will be back! Shokran, Salem!

Featuring a shared lounge, Byblos Villa Resort is located in Al Ḩadd, within 1.2 km of Al Hadd Beach and 1.3 km of Al Hadd Fort. So we were unsure whether to book this or not because of the reviews here, but took the risk! The property was absolute AMAZING, the location was perfect, but the staff were unbelievable! I mentioned it’s one of our friends birthdays and he went out to FILL the villa with balloons, decorations, birthday cake, candy, and lots of other fun things for when we arrived! We all arrived at awkward timings but he made sure to meet us super early to check in. He arranged a chef to cook us a bbq, constantly made sure we were well looked after, the villa is amazing, clean, comfortable, awesome cinema room, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and there’s a steam room! Huge villa but still very homely feeling, 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon! Again thank you so much to the staff for making sure we were well looked after and going above and beyond at every stage! You were awesome !

Featuring sea views, Wadi Shab Beach Villa in Sur features accommodation, a private beach area, pool with a view and a shared lounge. The place only has 6 rooms, so it is quiet. The owner was very helpful and friendly, also the staff was extremely kind. The deluxe room next to the pool was nice and spacious. The room located in the middle of the terrace was small and it did not have a fridge. The villa has a small private beach (steep stairs!). It also has a pool, but it was not heated, in December it was refreshing. It is located very close to the Wadi Shab starting point, you can even walk there. It is far from Tiwi center and restaurants, you need to go there by car. We paid extra for breakfast, which was very rich and tasty (eggs, toasts, sausage, beans, toasts, fruits, tea, juice), the price was 2.5 OMR/person. The view from the terrace to the sea was amazing. Overall we liked the place. But we had better value/price accomodations during our journey in Oman.
