Sometimes the most difficult places to reach are the best. At the end of an abandoned runway lies a great guesthouse where the hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home. It is located near the beach where fishermen bring their catch to shore. If you so wish the owner will barbeque these fish for dinner for you. You can choose to relax in the Bedouin tent next to the guest house or take the half hour drive to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve. And don’t be surprised if you spot a baby turtle near the guesthouse who took the wrong turn at the beach. In every way a great place to stay.

Inside and outside cozy and boutique designed, with nice warm outdoor pool. Great location, so peaceful and quiet!

Desert Moments Glamping - full privacy encontra-se em Muntarib. O alojamento apresenta estacionamento privado gratuito e serviço de quartos. Salah - our host - is a really friendly and welcoming person invested in making the desert stay a unique and unforgettable experience. My wife and I literally had our best time and memories of Oman in Salah’s private camp! The camp is located in a different region than all the other touristic camps, which makes the desert experience and privacy even greater! The tents are very spacious and the beds are so comfortable. Moreover, Salah and his team were able to adapt to all our requests or wishes, but Salah also organized special surprises along our stay such as sunrise & sunset camel walks, evening Bedouin singers & dancers, and even more… Furthermore, we had at all time a large variety of delicious Omani specialities in abondance. I can say that the quality of materials, food, and services are way better than 5 stars hotels. Therefore, I highly recommend Desert Moments Glamping camp and will come back for sure with friends and family members in a very near future. A big thank you to Salah & his wonderful team!!!

We had the most wonderful stay with Salem. We immediately felt welcome and at home through Salem and Sanoos’s amazing hospitality - from constantly offering us chai and coffee to helping us with our laundry (which was so above and beyond - thank you Sanoos). Salem took us to the beach our first night which ended up being a magical experience - fishing for huge tuna out of the back of his boat with his brother, Walid, at sunset. We had the BBQ dinner with the fish we caught (must do) which was the freshest fish we’ve ever eaten! The next day, we had such an amazing time snorkeling with turtles (it was unbelievable), spotting them in the sea, and swimming in a calm cove. Easily one of our favorite experiences in Oman and our best stay in Oman. We will be back! Shokran, Salem!

Turtle Guest House localiza-se em Sur, a 17 minutos a pé de Turtle Beach e a 16 km de Forte de Al Hadd. Perfect location to go for turtle watching. Great deal for the price.

Byblos Villa Resort localiza-se em Al Ḩadd, a 14 minutos a pé de Praia Al Hadd, e fornece acomodações com uma piscina exterior, estacionamento privado gratuito, um jardim e um salão partilhado. So we were unsure whether to book this or not because of the reviews here, but took the risk! The property was absolute AMAZING, the location was perfect, but the staff were unbelievable! I mentioned it’s one of our friends birthdays and he went out to FILL the villa with balloons, decorations, birthday cake, candy, and lots of other fun things for when we arrived! We all arrived at awkward timings but he made sure to meet us super early to check in. He arranged a chef to cook us a bbq, constantly made sure we were well looked after, the villa is amazing, clean, comfortable, awesome cinema room, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing, and there’s a steam room! Huge villa but still very homely feeling, 100% recommend and we will definitely be back soon! Again thank you so much to the staff for making sure we were well looked after and going above and beyond at every stage! You were awesome !

Wadi Shab Beach Villa está em frente à praia em Sur e tem um salão partilhado e uma área de praia privada. Fantastic location (3 min walk from wadi shab starting point). Breathtaking view! Turtles swimming in the water! Nice pool, we enjoyed it. The man who welcomed us was nice, we had good breakfast and dinner as well one night. Rooms are big, the beds were clean and comfortable. We had to arrive a day earlier and the owner was flexible to accomodate is last minute. Thank you!
