Richard (and his dog Sombra :D ) were super friendly, helped us with everything and gave us great suggestions for tours, restaurants, beaches, … Rooms are very spacious and clean plus one can also get free towels for the pool and beach! Breakfast is a bit expensive but worth the money as there is a great variety and Richard even makes pancakes or eggs.

With sea views, RIVA B&B is situated Isla Carenero and has free WiFi. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Amazing location, beautiful beach, starfish everywhere!! Beds are so comfy and the bathrooms are immaculate. The staff, Gabriel particularly is quite literally the best host we’ve ever had. We did 12 days in Panama, 4 at RIVA and wish we had stayed all 12 days at RIVA. The breakfast is impeccable and had many options with veggie and vegan options as well. I cannot sum up in one review how much we loved the vibes and atmosphere at RIVAS. Easy to access and close to really REALLY good food. Once again I’d like to highlight the amazing staff, Gabriel, we love you!!

Set in Bluff Beach, 6 km from Bocas Town, Oasis Bluff Beach features unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Oh my goodness, let me tell you about the most amazing hotel experience we ever had - it was like paradise on steroids! First of all, the location was killer. Right in front of the beach with waves crashing, it was so surreal and peaceful (no need for a white noise machine like I do in Brooklyn). I felt like a mermaid basking in the sun, with the ocean as my soundtrack, while the cutest baby sloths, colorful birds, and other amazing animals were doing their thing, adding to the beauty. It was like living in a Disney movie! But let me tell you, it was the hosts (Simon and Wendy) who really stole the show. These guys were the most adorable, hilarious and attentive people I've ever met. They had us in stitches every day, cracking jokes and making sure we were having the time of our lives. I felt like I was staying with family! The staff (that are like family to Wendy and Simon) was equally amazing - always friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. And let's not forget about the hotel's furry ambassadors, the cutest dogs ever: Jack and Lucky! They were so friendly, and I swear I sometimes spent more time petting them than sunbathing. Honestly, I never wanted to leave this place. I could have stayed forever, sipping on spicy Margaritas, doing my morning meditation on the beach and listening to the waves. If you're looking for a fun and unforgettable getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't regret it! Oh and the restaurant of the hotel is the best too, will need another review on that.

Located on Bocas del Toro, Barrbra BnB Over The Sea is a 2 story house built directly over the sea. The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Location is perfect, a few minutes out the center so it's quiet, our bed was right above the water, breakfast was super tasty, fish and sea stars and even sting rays right in front of the chill out area, nice hammocks and Marko of course is a very nice person (although still a business man ;)); he helped a lot with organizing private boat tours

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. The breakfast was exceptional and the dinner was out of this world. The deserts had us licking the plate. The proprietor Nadia was most helpful in getting us a taxi, bringing us items from the grocery and wonderful conversations and good laughs.

Situated within 500 metres of Istmito and 1.8 km of Y Griega Beach, Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. Great Host! Nicolas was super friendly and helpful. His breakfast was very tasty, we had the option of 5 different meals. the view from the deck is awesome, the b&b is very cozy. Nicolas gave us bikes for the entire stay and snorkels. The location is great, outside the craziness of downtown but with the bikes you can reach it in less than 10 min.

Located 2 miles from Bocas Town at the Y before Big Creek, Sand Dollar Beach features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. All rooms have balcony seating with views of the sea and gardens. I loved everything about this property, from the distance from downtown to the wonderful hosts and service. I slept to the sound of the waves and woke to birdsong, it was a very convenient and relaxing 4 night stay as a solo traveler. Sharon was very accommodating in all aspects, and I would definitely stay at her place again.

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. Right place for spending fantastic holidays away from the crowds of Bocas del Toro. Nice, colorful clean rooms, view over the bay where you can see dolphins jumping. Brian and Amy are just marvelous hosts that offer very interesting tours (snorkeling, dolphin spotting etc.) at fair prices and excellent food (on a long table with the other guests). It is not only called Dolphin Bay, there are really a lot of those noble creatures, apart from sloths, frogs, humming birds etc. Highly recommendable if you look for sustainable tourism (no plastic, renewable energy and careful usage of water).
