The room is very cozy and comfortable with a guest lounge and balcony from where you can see the city lights at night. Our host - Christiane was very sweet and welcoming making us feel right at home. The breakfast is scrumptious and Christiane was very sweet to wake up early to prepare breakfast for us since we needed to leave early. All in all 10/10 for the room, hospitality and breakfast. If we go to marseille again, we know where we will stay!

The location is perfect in the Panier-but be aware- as others have noted you do have to walk up some steps. If you have heavy luggage or have mobility issues it may not be your place. But if you can handle your luggage it’s really a wonderful place to stay. The garden is comfortable and quiet. However the biggest reason to stay here is the incredible owner who gives you recommendations and goes above the call of duty making reservations for you so you will have a locals visit not a tourist visit.
