The breakfast was outstanding. The hosts had documented everything to the hilt (room facilities, local map and things to see, …) Both hosts took an interest in why exactly we were visiting Canterbury and made sure we were given the most appropriate advice. A very friendly welcome.

The room was very clean, with good insulation and heating for the November weather. The bathroom was also pristine, with superb water pressure in the shower. The location is perfect, being within walking distance of the city centre, whilst still being in a somewhat quiet street. The fact that there is a pub downstairs is the icing on the cake.

Set in quaint gardens with plenty of free parking spaces for all guests, The Victoria Hotel offers traditional home-cooked food and free Wi-Fi.

Room cheap but clean, comfortable and self-contained. Cheap breakfast. Friendly staff. Special thanks to Rosario who gave me warm welcome and could recognize and address me though I stayed for only 1 night. Will certainly return when I visit Canterbury next time!
