It was very clean, comfy and cosy. Wi-fi was very good and patio was great for working, chilling. Panaji was also much nicer than we expected. Owner heled us with sim card registration, answeared all our questions, helped us with scooters.

We had a really lovely time staying here and Deric was most hospitable and went out of his way to help us . The place is in a lovely leafy neighbourhood and it was a real bonus to be able to have a fridge and an outdoor covered area where we could sit, play cards and enjoy a drink. It’s an easy stroll into pretty Fontainhas. Breakfast included (Indian or international) was a real bonus and we recommend trying the delicious Dosas.

Very nice family and conditions. It's a bit off the tourist part of Panjim, which I feel may be a good thing. Easily accessible by bus from and to the centre. Really good pastry shops nearby.

I often travel in Portugal and had an instant "Portuguese country house" déjà-vu upon arrival. The location is walking distance from the city centre, historical district as well as the city beach. Don't miss Panjim, we could easily have stayed a week in this very pleasant city.

The room is comfortable and spacious. Having a full size fridge/freezer and kettle is great. What really makes it is the host family who are so welcoming and helpful. Full of advice and happy to help organise things. There's a very regular and cheap bus from the stop nearby straight into town and the bus station or you can take cheap taxis.

Our room had a large terrace and in fact was a private apartment with fridge and tea making facilities. Our host Deric was incredibly helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. Roy is a great host, ready with advice and a useful map. Breakfast was a different Keralan speciality each day - you are encouraged to try things. The stuff you need - wifi, hot water etc - was all working well despite the age of the building. It doesn't look modernised (although it obviously has been, to a degree) and is very atmospheric.StephanieGroup
