But let's talk about that terrace – it's like a slice of heaven! I could've parked myself there for eternity, soaking in the view, serenaded by birds, and dancing to the church chimes. And to top it off, the host was an absolute gem – accommodating, friendly, and just all-around awesome. Trust me, you'll want to book this spot ASAP! Just a heads up, there's a bit of a stair workout to reach this slice of paradise, but let me tell you, it's worth every step for that jaw-dropping view at the top.

Loved everything! The hosts and staff were all very kind and caring. Maurizio was so helpful with suggestion for our 3 day trip which I only had vague ideas. The facility was extremely cute and clean. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The view from the hotel was spectacular! The town of Amalfi was just enough for tourist with all the shops and restaurants but not overwhelmingly crowded. Nothing to complain! Thank you Maurizio and Luciana!

The accommodations at Matteo’s are elegant and comfortable, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. The staff's warm hospitality and professionalism truly stood out, making me feel valued and cared for throughout my stay. Rosa, who was working when we were there, was excellent from start to finish and helped us with anything we needed and had excellent recommendations of what to do, where to go etc. In summary, Matteo’s is a haven of tranquility, offering a remarkable escape. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable getaway. Pros: Elegant and comfortable accommodations Exceptional hospitality from the staff Excellent breakfast Cons: None! I can highly recommend this place for so many reasons. Manuel as a host is treating his guests with joy and kindness 24 hours a day. Rooms are very clean and beds are the most comfortable I have ever tried in my life. Breakfast are kinda European buffet, wich is very good, because Italians does not eat breakfasts generally. Location seems to be little bit far from the beach or center but it's not true. Moreover location is perfect, because this is a place where you can count on silence. If you choose alternative location like 50-100 meters closer to the center of Amalfi, it's going to be noisy experience for you. Summarizing ... Manuel and his apartments seems to be the best option with the best quality/price ratio in Amalfi, which I can highly recommend.

Beautiful property with gorgeous views. Superb host and staff. Gerardo was the perfect host. Had our heavy luggage carried to and from our room on arrival and departure. Great breakfast every day, made to order eggs, fruit, yogurt, charcuterie, fresh juices, and cappuccinos and pasteries. He also gave us great restaurant suggestions and scheduled several taxis for places we needed to get to. The bus comes by at least every hour to go into the town center, which is very convenient. They have a pool as well, but we didn't have time to use it. Our balcony had 2 lounge chairs and a small table with chairs as well. You won't find a better view than Villa Orleans! We would definitely stay there again.
