The place is great, a paradise of pastoral tranquility and of serenity, I am sure it would be difficult to find anything better, unless one travels to a remote island. Well, if you like people, movement and action, this is not the place for you, otherwise it is simply ideal for relaxing and leaving your problems behind! I have spent many holidays in France in similar B&B places, but the owners of Grand Lucay far surpass any I have seen before. Extremely kind and friendly as one rarely, very rarely finds. Thank you!

A continental breakfast is available every morning at the bed and breakfast. Beautiful restored castle. Large rooms. Quiet location. On the grounds of the castle are also a large number of beautiful racing horses. Excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed the large swimming pool.

When thinking about it, we’re not sure we’ve had hosts that were so caring and helpful before. We were on the terrace which looks out over the beautiful vista and they came down and we chatted for maybe an hour. They made fresh bread and yoghurt for breakfast. You can tell they really want you to have a great experience staying there. The building is really well renovated keeping the old convent character while adding a modern touch. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. We intend to come back when we can.

We were 4 hours to late because of the traffic and after giving notice they waited for us with are room ready and warm food. Place in the middle of nowhere, great air and sound of water.
