The cottage is great: the couple running it is very nice and welcoming. The room we were given was large and comfortable, it was very fresh even during hot summer nights. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations the hosts gave us. The gorges du Verdon were quite close to reach. Given the pictures we expected a homemade pie for breakfast, which anyways consisted of ham, cheese, eggs, toasted bread, coffee, yogurt and muesli, homemade jams and juice. The facility offers a wonderful courtyard where one can sunbathe, play table tennis or simply read a book in a beautiful garden. We strongly recommend it.

We had a delightful stay at this guest house in the Provence mountains. The room was very cozy and the guest house offered breathtaking views of the picturesque surroundings. The warmest hospitality of the guest family made me feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious dinner served by the gracious hosts. There was a salad with quishe, wine and a delightful dessert, so it was a culinary experience to remember. The warmth and generosity of this guest family truly made my Provence mountain retreat unforgettable. It is a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and authentic French charm.

I was impressed by the hospitality from Marie-Pierre, they allowed us to use their kitchen and wait for us finish the dinner, then they start preparing for their own dinner, which was late! Situated in Blieux, Gaïa, maison d'hôtes Verdon, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi. With a garden, the property also features a terrace. The guest house provides a shared lounge. Beautiful scenery, overlooking the mountains, the quietness, the space, starts at night and trees starting to color as its the start of autumn. Lots of good hiking around such as le chiran. Very friendly and accomodating host. Recommend the dinner and breakfast Gaia offers, as it's nice to meet your fellow guests and it's very far to the nearest village/restaurant.

Lake view is tremendous. Host is super nice and welcoming, she helped us to book a nearby restaurant which required reservations and we were lucky as there was a cancellation, best value ever!

Our hostess was attentive but not intrusive. Really, practically perfect in every way. Breakfast was delicious. The quarters are ample, space-wise, and well appointed. She has thought of everything.
