The room was big, very clean, the beds were really comfy and the tarrase/ balcony had an amazing view of the mountains and the river. The neighbourhood was quite, safe and close to the old town, hiking trails and any other place one would like to visit while in Herculane. Doamna Lili was a great host, very attentive, hospitable and gave us some great advice on where to eat, bathe and trails nearby. We highly recommend this guest house and its lovely owners. There is a coffee maker on the balcony you can use. What really sells this place is the garden which extends to the Cerna river - an unbelievably cool place to spend a summer afternoon. Note however that it is not near to the center of Baile Herculane and that there are not many facilities or attractions nearby, it is a peaceful place you can use as a base to explore the surroundings.

The place was very clean and new, and the breakfast was exceptional - we ate on the terrace overlooking the river. Request the rooms with a mountain and river view - totally worth it. The private thermal pool was great - clean, lovely view and not crowded.
