Penzion u Lípy is located in Velichov, which has good connections with nearby towns Karlovy Vary and Ostrov and can be a start or a stop of a good hiking/exploring trip. The rooms are phenomenal: excellently decorated, beautiful and feel like home. There are at least two places which serve beer very close to the accommodation. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, plus the homemade cake for breakfast was just the best.

The host Jan was super helpful and nice, very easy to communicate with and ask any questions. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and warm, the beds were very comfortable. The shared kitchen with a dishwasher and free tea, coffee and milk is a big plus, saves a lot of time and money. The location is convenient if you have a car, 15-30 min away from ski resorts, 15 min away from Karlovy Vary. There are restaurants, a bistro and a minimarket 1-3 min away.

The suit was amazing, I liked the amenities in the hallway (we had a microwave there and a teapot with silverware and different kinds of teas). The balcony was great, it was nice to check the plethora of stars at night from the balcony. I enjoyed a lot the communication with the owner, she was very nice and friendly.

Great facilities for families staying with children. Many possibilities for hikes, walks nearby. Staff is very friendly.

Really beautiful home with amazing view to the hills from the rooms. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to cook dinner for 14 people, the living room has a dedicated area with toys and games for the kids, the beds super comfy and everything clean and nice when we arrived. We absolutely loved our stay!
