The appartment had everything you could possibly need, though the balcony was small and the view a little blocked, but fine. Though we arrived earlier than announced, the host immediately came to meet us and hand us the keys, very friendly. You have to walk up to the centre, but it's not far, and the host indicated to us a short and scenic riverside walk to get there.

The owner and his helper, RosaMaria, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The upstairs duplex apartment has a keycard, and is very well fitted - new windows/doors, renovated kitchen/bathroom and comfortable beds. Stunning terrace with table/chairs, parasol and BBQ.

Good size room with comfortable twin beds, small reasonably well equipped kitchen area with fridge and microwave, clean shower room. Good location under the castle and near a lively plaza with bars/restaurants. Good walks start right next to the property. A few places to park cars about 50 meters further up the street. Great restaurant downstairs with good food, although pricy. Wonderful mountain view from room.

Spacious rooms, grand bedding ( a treat for a solo traveller), excellent haute cuisine food served at a very reasonable price with style and kindness. Cazorla is a true discovery. The village has an alpine feel, nestled in middle range hills, in between oceans of olive trees (67 million of them in the Jaén province alone!), ideal for body and soul cleansing, whether an experienced hiker or not.
