I spent 1 week at Ali-Nais and it was everything and more I hoped for. I hope to be back one day!! As a solo traveler I booked the standard room (they have bungalows as well). The room was so nice and so well equipped! Valerie is super well traveled so she knows the details that make a difference: you can choose to use the aircon but the fan and the natural breeze do the trick, there is plenty of space to unpack (hangers, shelves, storage boxes), plenty of hangers in the bedroom and the bathroom for towels or cloths, there are multiple plugs across the room and next to the bed, and there is a vanity with long mirror and great lighting for us that need a closer look at our makeup ;) The room was right in front of the pool that I enjoyed every day for sunset and relax after a busy day. My primary reason to visit was to get my advanced PADI and as I was leaving early every morning to go to the dive shop by 7.45, I was missing breakfast hours. But Valerie was extremely accommodating and she gave me coffee/fruit/cake/brioche/etc the night before so I would not leave on an empty stomach. As I solo traveler I don’t mind going out for dinner by myself but… I was knackered after my dives so it was so nice to be able to enjoy the nice cooking from Laurent. They don’t offer ‘table d’hautes’ but you are offered to enjoy the cooking that Laurent does for themselves a few nights a week. And what a cook… everything was just delicious !! And just perfect before a quiet night of deep sleep. Also don’t hesitate to ask them for tips on activities, restaurants etc. They know their island like no other and have great great tips. One thing to note is that at my time of visit there was not yet fiber internet in the area so while there is wifi, it is still slow

What an amazing place, sad that our plane got cancelled and we stayed only one day instead of the three we had initially planned. But nevertheless the staff was incredibly nice, waited for us at night to give us a welcome and help us getting set-up. The place is absolutely beautiful, waking up in the morning with the sun rising over the ocean was absolutely stunning. We also got the breakfast that morning and loved it! If we ever come back to Guadeloupe we'll for sure stay again :)

Recibí un SMS con el código de una caja en la que recoger las llaves en la entrada. Estuvimos en la planta baja del bungalow rojo. Nos encantó. Habitación amplia, con un par de armarios, con aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo; baño enorme. Cocina con todo lo necesario para cocinar y también artículos de limpieza. Un montón de detalles que no esperábamos: plancha y tabla para planchar, lavadora (para uso común, en la parte trasera de los bungalows), un tendedero plegable, barbacoas en el jardín... Y el detallazo que nos dejó la dueña para el desayuno del día siguiente (galletas, zumos, leche, café, azúcar) y una botella de Punch. Genial. La piscinita en el jardín, un par de duchas... tumbonas... No faltó detalle. La situación, en una estrecha carretera paralela a la general, y solo que había que cruzar esa carretera, que solo transitaban los pocos vecinos) para estar en una playa enorme, con árboles y arbustos, y normalmente sin gente. Cerca de otras playas con chiringuitos y restaurantes, y cerca también del pueblo de Deshaies. Nos sorprendió muy muy agradablemente. Lo recomendamos plenamente.

It was so well equipped for our family. The small pool was great for my 3 year old. We had our own private entrance, patio and outdoor sitting area. It felt safe and provided a restful place for us to call home for 5 days. Many beaches nearby, one within walking distance.

Excellent location, two gorgeous beaches (plage de la grande anse et plage de la perle) literally on your doorstep. Place is quaint, with an amazing porch to spend your mornings and evenings on. Clean, very well equipped, very romantic. Absolutely cannot fault this place ! We even had some welcome fruits and planteur punch when we arrived. Wifi was faultless (and absolutely essential as poor mobile reception particularly in the area). Place well equipped with stove, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and air condition. Stephan, who welcomed us, we very sweet and helpful! Even saw an iguana in our car park. Very close to Deshaies, which is a lovely little town with all the necessary amenities, a lovely beach full of pelicans and frigate birds diving for fish, and plenty of restaurants cooking delicious seafood.

Beautiful location surrounded by forrest. The flowers in the garden attract a lot of birds. There is a limited view of the ocean from the deck but the deck is ideal for meals and watching the sun go down. The accommodation has all the facilities required for a comfortable self-catering stay. Deshais is a short drive away and there are direct roads to either Grand Anse beach or Perle beach a few minutes away. Very helpful hosts.
