We stayed in one of the cabins. There were two western style beds and mats for additional sleeping. Two toilets and a large shower room with a large tub (hot tub maybe - didnt' reallly check it out). Immaculte clean and looked brand new with beautifully crafted wood on the walls, ceilings and floors. All you would need for cooking any meal. Short walk to ski rental places and the main lodge of Hakuba Goryu ski resort. Also many restuaurants within walkable distance. Staff called us that morning to pick us up at the bus stop - nice bonus! Breakfast was delicious and staff very nice!

Gorgeous little pension. Comfortable rooms and beds - good temperature. Great shared bathrooms, very clean. Japanese bath for soaking. Lovely common space that felt very welcome in. Nice to hang out and drink a glass of wine or bento box. Great breakfasts that were timed for you.

So a beautiful setting. The owner was very cooperative to drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon at the bus terminal for skiing. Also to drop off in the village in the evening for dinner. If not though, the location would be impractical. Walked home most nights after dinner, but difficult when it had snowed.
