Where to begin. This was by far my favorite experience in Cambodia. Living with this amazing family was so exciting! Now, you can’t be expecting luxury, 5 stars etc, but when you’re ready to fully dive into a local family’s life & home, then look no further. Pov and his wife & kids are so welcoming & kind and try their best to make your stay perfect. I didn’t have time to do big jungle treks, so instead, Pov took me around the area, visiting the best spots, and let me hang out with him and his friends in the evenings! Him and his wife also made sure I wasn’t starving, and even cooked vegan meals for me. I loved my time here and would definitely come back! Maybe in the future! Choul mouy my friend!

The Tribal Village Homestay is a wonderful little oasis! The property is gorgeous, and you really feel like you are far from civilization. You're not far from the center of Banlung, just a few minutes on a motorbike. The hospitality is exceptional. The host will answer all your questions and help you arrange anything you want. I ended up staying in the two person bungalow, which was very comfortable and clean. You are staying in a bungalow, though, so if you are sensitive to light and sound I would recommend bringing an eye mask and ear plugs. Staying here was one of the highlights of my time in Ratanakiri province, and I 100% recommend it to others.

The family is very welcoming and friendly. I felt at home the first day. Good hospitality. Very helpful to help you organize everything (tuk tuk , trekking etc). The guests was very friendly too. One of the highlights of my time in Cambodia, this place was pretty perfect. The owner is a really cool guy and really goes out of his way to help you; he picked me up and dropped me off to my bus for free and exchanged money for me too. And his wife's food is incredible - with huge portions for both breakfast and dinner. The whole place has such a welcoming, friendly vibe and is in a fantastic location. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

We had the happiest stay at the family guesthouse, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The family took great care of us and made us feel at home, we can say we will miss them! The guesthouse is a fantastic value for money, and the food is among the best we tried in Cambodia, delicious and plenty. The location is beautiful, with great views and at a convenient situation to visit the main attractions. In a cosy restaurant next to the guesthouse their delicious tradicional grandma's noodle soup is served and is worth a try. Thank you for everything, it has been a pleasure to spend some time with the family at your beautiful place :)

The house is from a fairytale - a wooden house in the middle of the nature, with a garden, wooden table & seats in front of it on the terrace. The room itself is great, the beds are really comfortable + they have a mosquito net which we really appreciated, the bathroom is good. What made our stay here really memorable are the owners and their son Sok. They are incredibly kind, helpful, funny, and Sok is a wonderful company - he guided us around the city and played chess with us. One of the best stays ever, we really recommend this place!
