This was the first place I stayed in during my trip to Korea - and it exceeded all expectations. I arrived early, but the owner let me leave my luggage and lent me an umbrella. When I returned to check in, he gave me a (big) tasty cake as a welcome gift! The room is spacious, as is the bathroom. The beds are on the hard side (normal for Korea), but comfortable. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE. A feast of delicious Korean dishes, which are freshly cooked and change each day. A quick and easy laundry service is available at a competitive price. The location in Yeonnam-dong is also perfect - it's a 10-minute walk to the metro and the busy part of Hongdae, but the neighbourhood surrounding the guesthouse is really chill and full of fantastic cafes and restaurants. This place is excellent value for Seoul - book it now!

The location was perfect close to Sinchon metro station and really close to the famous youth area "Hongdae". Unit was clean, bright, and comfortable, with many technological upgrades. Close to many restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores (basic groceries and toiletries can be purchased at the convenience store). Closest subway stop (Nambu bus terminal) was about 10 minutes walking distance. There's also a Daiso (Japanese dollar store) near the Nambu bus terminal. Gangnam area is really close by. Staff was attentive, checking in remotely daily for housekeeping needs. Everything we needed for our stay, plus the massage chair was a unexpected bonus amenity. Having a kitchen, washer, and living room made us feel like we were at home away from home.
