One of the best hostels in Almaty, I would say. This hostel is a gem. The rooms are very clean. Oscar and his colleague are very courteous. The owner is very accommodating, understanding, and helpful. They have gone the extra mile to help us with every question we have. Everything you need is provided: basic toiletries, towels, washing machine, dryer, kettle, hairdryer, laundry detergent, coffee, tea, and cooking facilities. You can also store your luggage if you need to leave for another city for a day or two. The room rate is affordable and reasonable. The location is near grocery stores, bus stops, and restaurants. I hope they maintain this level of service, as they help a lot of travelers and tourists.

We stayed at the hotel for ten days. It is very family-friendly and clean. The location is perfect for walking around the city, close to the main points of view. Remember that this is not a regular hotel; the receptionist is not always there, but they will always answer all your questions and give advice via the phone. Very nice hotel room with a kitchenette. Quiet area with nice trees all around. Blackout curtains help you to sleep in. Balcony. Good A/C. Good WiFi. TV has Netflix and Prime Video available (your account). No noise from other rooms at all. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Small kitchen area with two seats at a counter opposite. Microwave. Stovetop. Small fridge with a freezer. Utensils/plates/silverware provided. Really, nicely done! You definitely sense that the owners care about making your stay comfortable and pleasant. As a matter of fact, one of the highlights is the staff, who are just terrific. Technically it's not a hotel, but a Hostel (and evidently a really good one). But for those of us who take an apartment, it has all the advantages of a hotel. 24 hour front desk, which means they accompany you to your apartment, no matter what time your flight arrives. Lounge/seating area with free tea and coffee, oatmeal, rice, seasoning, etc. Nice breakfast provided at a small coffee shop onsite. True baristas! (50% discount at all times) Convenience store next door with excellent prices. Open until 2am! Good location close to a shopping mall, but also numerous restaurants, bars (check out Black Market which also has terrific food), and stores, including supermarkets (I recommend Magnum). It is a bit far from the airport, but that also means closer to the mountains. The botanical garden is just okay.
