Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Pearl's Homestay Matale is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Matale, 27 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall.

Pearly and Ranjan are incredibly welcoming and warm-hearted hosts. It was a pleasure to talk to them, and they could tell us a lot about Sri Lankan culture. They also gave us great tips what to visit during our stay (in Matale as well as in Sri Lanka). We had an amazing breakfast with fresh fruits from their garden. The room was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. From their terrace you have a stunning view over Matale and the surrounding mountains. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would love to come back.

Located within 50 km of Kandy City Center Shopping Mall in Matale, Gammaduwa Bungalow features accommodation with seating area. The property features garden and inner courtyard views.

Stayed for 3 nights and this was our favourite place during our Sri Lanka trip. Homely feel and amazing food and service. Enjoyed the library and endless cups of excellent tea. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water. Wifi worked very well in the library area. Tea tasting was interesting and some nice walks in the area. Thanks to Dave and the staff for a memorable stay :)

Plantation Retreat, allotjament vacacional a Matale

Plantation Retreat is tucked away in Kandy, just 400 metres from Patanpaha Bus Stand. It welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi access.

Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Overlooking stunning nature views, Strathisla Guest House features an outdoor swimming pool and barbeque facilities. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi access at all areas of the property.

We loved to stay at the strathisla guesthouse. The view is amazing, the garden with the pool perfect, the staff really friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the tasty food. Definitely a place we would come back.

Offering a garden and garden view, Irene's Home is located in Matale, 27 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall and 28 km from Sri Dalada Maligawa.

We have booked this place for our first night in Sri Lanka. The owner met us on arrival. As it was everything new to us, we had a good few questions and owner couldn't be more than helpful. He advised us on the places we can visit, where to exchange money etc. Communications been very clear. The house is located within working distance to the very busy town, but in the very quiet area, so we had a very good sleep 😁 If you are looking to visit Matale and looking to stay near by highly recommend to stay at this property 👍 This was a first time we saw the monkeys 🤣🤣
