Quiet even though it's close ,100m to the main bus road.You can find many places to eat within walking distance also if you have a craving for western fast food ( McDonald's, KFC ) Close to downtown Colombo and to a nice beach.No A/C but a good ceiling fan and many windows. I arrived in Srilanka by arriving in Cottage Garden, such a nice place for stay and take Srilankan temperature. Quite, peaceful, with tortule friends who is walking in the garden. Breakfast was very good and generous.

Extremely clean, everything smelt so nice! Beds were so comfortable and the hosts were so lovely. There was a washing machine, spot to hang clothes to dry, and a full sized fridge which were all super handy. One of our nicest stays in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend.

Great location (just outside the city centre (which can be very noisy and crazy) in a nice, calm neighbourhood. The staff are super friendly and helpful and everything is very clean and nicely decorated. A boutique favourite for a very reasonable price.

Everything was very clean and the manager was extraordinary. We had our dinner at one of the nice restaurants at the beach when suddenly a heavy rain and storm came. As we thought about how we can get back to the villa he suddenly was there and brought us umbrellas. He must have searched for us. The next morning he served an outstanding breakfast.
