Every now and then you stay in accommodation that makes you wish you were able to live in permanently, and consider redecorating your own house. This is one of those places. The owners have exquisite taste in terms of decor, and at the same time have created a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Small details (you can try their impressive tea collection and enjoy the equally impressive record and CD collection) make this so much more than just another hotel/apartment. The staff in the cafe downstairs are very friendly, and for a drink and something light to eat I would not bother going anywhere else. Vianden is a lovely town to walk around, visit the castle or do a bit of hiking.

As soon as Glen stepped out of his car and greeted us (including our dog), we knew that the weekend couldn't go wrong! He gave us a guided tour inside the cozy cottage, literally in the middle of forest, yet still close enough to the village down the hill. We ordered some BBQ-ready food from Glen and oh, it was so delicious! The deck is covered, so you can BBQ even when it rains. The cottage is decorated with a lot of personal touch and it makes it very homy. In the morning, we could see squirrels and birds out of the windows. We are already planning to come back in the summertime!

The camping is located on the road, the windows are towards the river, the room is large, the kitchen is fully equipped, there is a gas station and a store next to the hotel entrance.

The house itself was great - really well built and with eye for detail. The view from the balcony was amazing and so were the premises around the house (all very clean, very well kept, the playground, the pond, etc.). Absolutely amazing.

Very calm location, perfect for whose who loves to be at the nature and doesn't like noisy cities. There everything what you need in the houses.

Quiet lovely village, super clean house, had everything I needed. Full house with full kitchen and meeting room, all just for me. I have a hobby to leave things in better condition than I found them but it was perfect already. Slept very well. I plan to return to share this nice place with some good friends.
