The location is excellent. There is a castle, a church nearby and there are places where you can eat until late at night. The apartments themselves are large, clean and comfortable. Thanks to self-check-in, you can check in at any time at night. The bed linen and towels are clean, there is tea and coffee (but I couldn’t find a coffee pot). You can see a parked car from the window, which adds calmness. Free Wi-Fi is fast and works without problems.

The location was excellent and I was impressed by the amount of living space. Also there were thoughtful amenities like quality toiletries, kitchen essentials, and tourism brochures in multiple languages. It suited our family perfectly, we will stay here again when we visit Cesis!

Most of all, the owner is extremely nice and friendly. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us back on the last day. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. There was even salt, pepper, coffee and such basic ingredients in the kitchen. Hot water was always available. The site is amazing, lots of sports to play, and a barbecue. You need to bring your own charcoal and lighting fluid. The forest and river around it are great. Make sure to bring anti-mosquito stuff!
