We stayed at Šenkova Domačija for one week and had the most amazing time. The location is paradisical, in a beautiful valley, just across the border from Austria. It's a bit outside the center of Jezersko, off the main road, in a quiet area. We felt very warmly welcome by the family and staff who run the farm and accommodation. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, the rooms were cosy and newly built, using old materials from the historical buildings, and were equipped with modern facilities; all blended in well with the historical parts of the farm. It was also great to walk around and meet and watch some of the animals and enjoy the beautiful view of the nearby mountains. The food was simple but delicious, made only from whatever grows and lives on the farm, and there was always a vegetarian option as well. We had dinner there most evenings, but due to the strict dinner times that need to blend in with farm life and work, this may not always be possible, especially if you're going off on a day trip and return later in the evening. If you're interested in hiking mostly and only staying a few days though, then there's no need to travel further, as there are already various hiking trails starting directly at the farm, and we did most of those. All in all, it was the perfect place for us to relax for a week in the middle of nature and one of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia and the Alps in general. It's also excellent for outdoor adventures and less than 2 hours away by car from Ljubljana or Triglav National Park if you want to explore other parts of the country, too.

Perfect location in a quiet place. The appartment is small but we found there all we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well-equiped too, we only missed the peeler.:) There is a grocery’s shop under the studio which is very convinient as well.

The property sticks to the warmth and style of Slovenian alpine inns and cottages. The hosts are great, breakfast is great, location is close to pretty much everything in the area including most hiking trails, parking is available and pretty much all rooms offer great view.

This is a lovely hotel. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was amazing! The staff were friendly and all of the food was delicious. They went out of their way to provide me with vegetarian food too which was very much appreciated. Thank you 😊

Our stay was beyond our dreams! Our room had everything we needed and was so so clean. The location was central, in between the city center and the lake only a short walk to each place. The hikes were brutal but breathtaking. Ariana was beyond helpful and so kind. She made our experience that much more memorable. By far the best stop of our Europe trip! Exceptional experience! Not only an accommodation, a perfect way to experience the camping life in the most luxurious way ! And the staff… perfection, they even helped us order a pizza in the middle of nowhere, really a gem this location! Will definitely come back to this one next time I’m in the region!
