If you are looking for a place that feels like home search no more. As backpackers, this is our favourite place in Colombia and it is Palomino's hidden gem. It's the kind of place that makes you keep extending - we booked three nights and stayed for two weeks. During our stay in Jaba Jan, we found everything we were looking for. It is 3km to Palomino so the town is always accessible but at the same time you can stay away from the crowds. Not only the place is incredibly beautiful and it is located in a privileged spot, but our stay was absolutely amazing thanks to the people there. The owners, Dean and Jen, are two sweethearts. From day one, they always helped us on everything we needed and made sure that our stay was comfy and truly unique. The common spaces are always filled with a great vibe and people gather up for dinner/lunch in a very familiar way. Also, Dean and Jen prepared very sweet get togethers, like canelazo or sangria nights. The activities offered by the hostel are great. The kayak tour around the mangrove is very special and Dean explains the area in a very detailed way. The environment around the hostel is very nice and wild: the river, the mangrove and the almost private beach next to it are great spaces to chill and have a good time. About the facilities, the rooms are always very clean, they have a sports space that is quite big and equipped, the open showers are super beautiful and the kitchen and common areas have everything you need to for cooking, relaxing and enjoying yourself. The price is very fair for what you get and the food (bkf, lunch and dinner) is delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful! Couldn't recommend this place more :)

Donama River se encuentra en Palomino, a 14 min a pie de Playa Palomino, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. El estilo del lugar es precioso, el internet vuela, y las terrazas con hamacas lo son todo. Palomino es un pueblo de mucho calor, si sufrís mucho el calor te recomiendo que elijas la habitación con aire.

Casa Flor Hostel & Drinks está en Riohacha y tiene salón de uso común, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Buena relación calidad-precio, queda cerca del muelle, en la noche hay vigilante, el wifi es bueno

Apartamento #3 completo en excelente ubicación ofrece alojamiento en Riohacha, a 18 min a pie de Playa de Riohacha. Este alojamiento ofrece parking privado gratis y acceso a un patio. El apartamento está muy bien ubicado, para ser un viaje de paso, estuvo bastante chévere la estadía.

Freesoul Hostel se encuentra en Palomino, a 9 min a pie de Playa Palomino, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Me encanto el Staff. Todos los voluntarios son super amables, y atentos. Estan siempre dispuestos a ayudarte. Andres, Alejandra, Carolina, Laura y Carlos. Todos tienen una energia increible. La señora Betty cocina delicioso. Voy a extrañar la vibra del hostal.

Hostal La Finquita está en Palomino, a 6 min a pie de Playa Palomino, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. Excelente ubicación. En la mitad del camino al pueblo y a la playa. Cabañas rústicas, cómodas. Personal muy amable. Buenos desayunos.

Jui Chi MaMa, que cuenta con jardín, se encuentra en la región de La Guajira, Palomino, a 2,4 km de Playa Palomino. Very nice place in a quiet area of Palomino. Has a kitchen with everything you need and beautiful garden. The owner, Ger, is a wonderful person and he can guide you to the indigenous people village and tell interesting stories about culture and fauna. We really liked the place and felt like at home, so even decided to extend our booking from 2 to 4 nights. They have laundry service also.

Las habitaciones son cómodas y la casa está ubicada en una buena zona pero lo mejor es La atención y calidez con las que te reciben, es muy bonita y te hacen sentir en Casa

Glamping Due Amici se encuentra en Palomino, en la región de La Guajira, cerca de Playa Palomino. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, parking privado gratis y acceso a la bañera de hidromasaje. Según llegamos alucinamos con lo bonito que es el hostal, con mogollon de plantas súper cuidadas y las instalaciones son las mejores que hemos estado nunca en Colombia

Hostal Nibuni Palomino tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Palomino. El alojamiento dispone de restaurante y también tiene bar y bañera de hidromasaje. We had a wonderful stay here, super relaxed. The owner and his staff are just amazing and lovely! They helped us with all the requests we had. The place is very quiet but super central as well, amazingly clean despite all the sand and just great. The breakfast is really delicious and they take care of your preferences! Here you're surrounded by just wonderful great vibes. We liked it so much that we prolonged our stay for several days. We would always come back and will recommend this site, which became our Palomino home, to everyone who's going to visit Palomino.
