Huaca Huaca Hostel has a garden and a terrace in Mocoa. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. Every room is fitted with a balcony. this property is exceptional, one of my favourite places I have stayed in Latin America. The owner, Janneth and her assistant Victoria, have the BEST vibes!! The rooms are lovely, the views are gorgeous, the food is tasty and the day trips/hikes into the jungle to visit incredible waterfalls were FANTASTIC. Went for two nights and stayed for a week. AMAZING

Incredible jungle view from the room and bacony. Really cool artisanal design including waterfall like showers and a huge bath ( it takes time to fill but it's worth every penny after a good day walking to waterfalls). It's a walking distance to entry to Fin del Mundo falls trek and a little further a bridge over Rio Pepino where you can find unreal swimming spots just to to yourself. When it rains it's even more mystical with clouds hovering over Selva and river gushing down below. Hosts will cook food at anytime and bring everything to your room. Solid Colombian breakfast included. Taxis can be arranged to Mocia for 15.000 COP. My kinda paradise.

The hosts John Jairo and Alexandra were very kind and helpful, and also patient with my lack of Spanish. Every meal I had there was delicious. The nature there is beautiful. I enjoyed relaxing on the hammock, listening to the birds, and visiting the nearby waterfall for a swim.
