There is no view or balcony or terrace. Building is surrounded by other buildings. The main issue was noise. From parties till very late hours to drilling from 8am. This building has a construction going (they building another floor on top of you) so no peace all day and dust everywhere. I think once everything is done it is worth to stay. Many shops around from D1 to Ara, close to the beach (5min) or bus stops.

I only stayed for 1 night during Easter when my other hostel was full. Wow, I wish I could have stayed longer. Complete tranquility with only the sound of the wind in the trees and the birds… Bit of a walk to the beach but beautiful and the chance to spot sloths! Owner is amazing and sits you down when you arrive to explain everything. She has created amazing places to sleep where the breeze can creep in during the night.

Featuring a garden and on-site dining, Hostal del Mar - Tolu is located in Tolú. Each room is equipped with a terrace. All units in the guest house are fitted with a TV. We stayed here for two nights to visit the islands and relax a little bit. Turns out it was a really good decision! The rooms were very clean, compfy and had a very good A/C! But the best thing about the place was the owner! She was really helpful, courteous and friendly. We forgot something at the hotel and she even brought it to the bus station where we was already waiting!! Would defo come again if we come back to Tolu!
