The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay in la fortuna. And all that for a very reasonable price. Excellent!

Boasting garden views, Nirvana Apartament Hostal provides accommodation with patio, around 34 km from Poas National Park. The staff is super friendly! Kevin attended all my requests and helped me. The apartment had a very good size and it was very clean. I was worried about mosquitos but there were none. It was really comfortable. It’s close to the airport, you just need to get one of the red taxis at the airport and it will be $5-8 only.

Situated just 30 km from Poas National Park, Airport Traveler's home. Features accommodation in Alajuela City with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. Román is really nice guy. He took us drom the airport, take us shopping. The place was clean and kitchen was well equiped with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, tea, coffee (and maybe more if we were looking for it). Two "rooms" are outside the house in two small cabins, it is pretty cute :) Shower are shared.

Bungalow Batsù is a recently renovated apartment in Fortuna, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from La Fortuna Waterfall.... The bungalow apartment is new (6 months) very nice and well equipped (fan + AC + kitchen). It’s in a very calm neighborhood in nature. The host is very nice and friendly, he understands English and his wife speaks English. He’s very careful to speak slowly and with easy words if you want to train your Spanish :) Good breakfast with typical galo pinto + eggs and something else that changes + tea or coffee. We enjoyed our stay :)

Featuring inner courtyard views, Airport SJO Residence - Edward & Familia Inn features accommodation with balcony, around 33 km from Poas National Park. Cute & clean little appartment. I had a warm welcome & immediately felt like home. Edward is very kind and helpful. The location is great as well as it‘s near to the airport and I felt very safe there.

Very kind, flexible when had to check in a bit late, made us a simple but delicious breakfast and drove us to the airport. The water was not working the day we arrived as it was out for the whole neighborhood and they were very prepared with extra water and even offered to heat up water for us to shower with. Great stay!
