49 km from Barra Honda National Park in Sámara, Residencias Samara provides accommodation with access to wellness packages. It is set 400 metres from Samara Beach and offers luggage storage space. The location is great, very close to restaurants and the beach but also quiet. It's nice to have a living room + kitchen and balconies. Beds were comfortable + AC in the bedrooms is enjoyable. There is everything in the flat if you need to cook.

46 km from Barra Honda National Park, Eco-Turismo Guayacanes is a recently renovated property situated in Sámara and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Everything was perfect, the host, Xavier was really kind and fully available. The place was great, clean and perfect for a family escape. The pool, the fruit's ree (lemon, grapefruit, etc), the location, 5 min from Samra and Carillo beach, make this place a unavoidable. I'll recommend for sure to anyone, it worth the price (not too expensive, we were the mid November).

Set in Tamarindo, Favela Chic Tamarindo - Adults Only offers accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The bungalow is amazing. The whole of Favela chic is great. Great location and the hotel provides bikes so you can move around really easily. Jesse is a great host. Highly recommend !

Offering a garden and lake view, La Ceiba Tree Lodge is situated in Tilarán, 41 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 17 km from Venado Caves. Great view over the lake and forest. Excellent breakfast and dinner. The owner work previous as a tourist guide and can answer any questions and recommended some nice places we didn’t know.

Situated within less than 1 km of Potrero Beach and 2.3 km of Penca Beach, Villas Pura Vibra provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Potrero. We loved our visit to this little oasis, the hosts were kind and helpful. The location was great and walkable to the beach and restaurants. Make sure you book in one of their new cabins as they were gorgeous, monkeys, wildlife and the resident pig entertained us. Highly recommended to anyone who wants quiet and calm accommodations with easy day trips. We found a secluded beach just a 5 minute drive north of Potrero. Overall our best accommodation in Costa Rica, will recommended.

Baliyana Lodge is located in San José Pinilla and features a pool with a view and garden views. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Beautifully located in the middle of the jungle with great jungle view from the infinity pool. Spacious and nicely decorated bungalow. Good breakfast, also with the jungle view. Well maintained. Friendly owners, that can give good advice for restaurants.

Casa Papito is situated in Playa Potrero, Guanacaste and each suite offers a private terrace and a kitchen. It provides free WiFi and a garden with swimming pool. Gorgeous, huge room and outdoor deck. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool. Excellent sound system and lighting. Our own kitchen. Hosts have thought if everything including a cooler and chairs for the beach!
