We could not have asked for more. Carlos, our host, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing, the place was clean, quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable, near facilities and we could park our motorcycles in a sheltered parking spot. Definitely strongly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean and spacious, beds comfortable. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the common area has multiple hummingbird feeders where I could identify at least 4 different species of hummingbirds. At times there were up to 20 hummingbirds at once flying around. There were other birds as well to view from the restaurant deck. At night, just walking down the driveway I spotted two tree frogs. Rob was a wonderful host, answering all our questions, thank you for the dinner recommendation, Casa Italia was fantastic. Really enjoyed the nature on this property, would definitely come back.

The views were just amazing. We woke up the first morning and was not able to see the lake at all. But by the second morning, we could see the lake, mountain ranges, windmills in the distance, it was beautiful. The house was cute and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Having the pool there during the hot days was awesome. The pool was the perfect place to cool off.

We had such a great stay, we even extended it for one more day. It‘s a great property to stay in, very quiet with just nature around. The club house offers a lot of on top activities, such as table tennis, billiards, on some mornings you can even find a breakfast service. You can also book a massage (I recommend). The pool is absolutely fantastic! The hosts made us feel very welcome. They furnished the house with very much love and with best quality equipment (we have not experienced anywhere else in Costa Rica). Pie in the Sky 3 Amazing Luxury Home with Lake and Volcano view is a semi-detached holiday home set in El Fosforo in the Alajuela Region and is 13 km from Fortuna. A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

Situated in El Fosforo in the Alajuela Region, this holiday home is 13 km from Fortuna. Guests benefit from patio. A microwave, a toaster and a fridge can be found in the kitchen. The view is amazing. We were waisted because everything we saw during the hikes couldn’t compete with our place. And lot’s of Kolibri’s and butterflies in the garden.

The breakfast was lovely and different each morning. It was so fresh with plenty of fruit and lovely coconut bread. It was lovely to have breakfast and watch the birds enjoying the fruit that is put out for them each morning. We also had dinner each evening and the menu was so varied and very international. Eyal is a fantastic host, he is a big character and is so welcoming to all guests. The food was absolutely incredible and we ate in each evening as we did not want to go out and miss his wonderful food. Truly outstanding flavours and quality. Such a beautiful setting. Our room was the jungle room and we loved the jungle theme decoration. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We had a really good balcony overlooking the lake.
