Lovely appartment close to the beach and the center. I arrived in the middle of the night and the owner was there to welcome me. The house is at the location of the map on booking, so easy to find. The owner is waiting at the balcony, so i found it really easy. For boa vista prices, really amazing. Yes it is a busy street, you won't find yourself on the balcony but luckily you have lots of cafes or the beach to chill. The kitchen it a bit limited, maybe a frying pan would be nice, but in the basicness you can still make everything you want (i also assume you are not going to cook all out since its a holiday). Bed is comfi and big. Its really not that hot during the night, so a fan is more than enough (i didn't even need it).

The price was unbeatable, for the size of the room/location/cleanliness. The owners speak French, likely Creole and Portuguese. If you speak German it‘s s bit of a language barrier! But very, very nice couple. Sal Rei is very small, and everything is very accessible

Vila Mare - Praia de Chaves frontline se află în Cabeçadas și are cazare cu WiFi gratuit și vedere la mare, precum și o grădină, o terasă și un bar. The view is amazing. The apartement is very comfortable, beautiful designed and perfectly equiped. The pickup to the apartement and back to the airport was organized for us allready. When we arrived it was exceptionally clean.

Boavista Beach Apartment se află pe malul mării în Sal Rei, la doar 3 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Estoril, și pune la dispoziție cazare cu WiFi gratuit și biciclete gratuite. The hosts were wonderfully kind and assistive. Tina was a guide to the island, organized anything we only mentioned and she is a really nice person. Apartment is spacious and comfortable and it was perfectly clean. There is no airconditioning, but windows provided sufficient airflow (with insect nets) to feel very comfortable. WiFi was working very good (but electrical power may be unstable). Bathroom nice, shower cabin much better than average.

I don't know how, but Sylvia thought of everything you might need during your stay. I was so surprised to, every time, find what I needed in this apartment : small drying rack, plug adaptor and phone chargers, several small lamps to create a reading corner. As a host myself, I can say that it is very rare to find such perfect rentals which so clearly show how much thought, care and love the host has put into designing them. The location and building is absolutely idyllic. The building is a renovated fisherman's house, and you're located in the heart of local life, not in the touristic part with impersonal hotels, witnessing the fishermen getting busy in the morning, the children playing in the streets, etc. And yet within 5 mins walking you find yourself in the very city center. This is simply a gem and, to me, the best place to stay at in Sal Rei. The studio is also guarded at night by Manuel who's an absolute delight and can help you with anything you might need. The only downside would be that this rental is not owned by a local but by a European lady, hence if you want to support the local economy and local people, this is not for you. Thanks to its location however, this rental seems to offer a perfect balance between local authenticity and modern comfort.

Vilas na areia aparthotel se află la 5 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Estoril și pune la dispoziție o grădină, facilități de grătar și o recepție deschisă nonstop. I spent just over two weeks at Vilas na areia in early March 2023 and really enjoyed my time there. Rosella and Antonio are very friendly and helpful hosts, and as mentioned in other reviews, the accommodation is very cosy and super clean. Breakfast (at additional cost) was wonderful and proximity to town and beaches good. I had a small kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, sink and kitchen essentials in my apartment. Internet was good, there was no TV which was perfectly fine for me. Communication before and during my stay was great. Both are very approachable, just speak to them if anything is missing or needed. I would definitely recommend Vilas na areia and would love to go back some time in the future.
