This apartment is the best! It is huge with a wonderful balcony, hosts are very kind, they allowed us to use another room in the morning and leave our bags until our room is ready. They also brought us our bags to the public ferry after the check out since we went to visit Karnak. Breakfast was great with a wonderful view from the terrace. If you want to experience the real Luxor, you should definitely stay here, as the nature and surrounding is incredible.

Situated just 5.2 km from Colossi of Memnon, Blue Nile House features accommodation in Luxor with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. In November/December we stayed three weeks in the beautiful Blue Nile House in a great apartment: spacious, clean, with three balconies and great views over grasslands, corn and rice fields, and the river Nile. Our host, Sayed, and his team are very kind and most helpful. The daily breakfast under the beach umbrella near the swimming pool was something to look forward to every morning. For dinner there was a varied menu of delicious Egyptian meals to choose from. The somewhat remote location of the hotel (distance to the ferry is 2,8 km) guarantees a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There are several possibilities to visit the ancient Egyptians monuments. Sayed can arrange for taxis and excursions by car, and there are lots of tuktuks on the road. We hired two bikes for three weeks at Mohammed Satohe’s ‘Bicycles for hire’ in the village to visit the Valley of the Kings, the temples and tombs on the West Bank, following good Dutch tradition. We highly recommend Blue Nile House, for it is the perfect place to stay on the West Bank of Luxor. Thank you Sayed, Abdellah, Ahmed, and Karim for these wonderful three weeks! Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of quiet street, CASA LOKO Guest House is located in Luxor, 3.2 km from Medinet Habu Temple. Siamo stati in questa Guest House per 4 giorni e siamo stati accontentati in qualsiasi cosa. Avevamo un’autista, il fantastico “Doctor,” che ci ha portato nei siti più famosi. Mohammad è stato di una gentilezza unica, ci ha aiutati in tutto, come per esempio l’organizzazione delle varie escursioni. Il tutto a prezzi davvero onesti. Abbiamo anche cenato in struttura una sera, tutto preparato dalla moglie. Cibo davvero buonissimo. L’appartamento è stupendo, moderno, pulito e comodo. La piscina è piccolina, ma tenuta molto bene e pulita. Avevamo il volo in tarda serata e ci hanno permesso di restare in appartamento anche dopo l’orario di check-out. Non potevamo davvero chiedere di meglio.

We enjoyed the room very much! Breakfast was delicious and they prepared very early for us. There was a tuktuk driver who was taking us to the Ferry and the price was reasonable. We also arranged a transfer to the airport. I totally recommend this place.

Situated within 2.9 km of Colossi of Memnon and 4 km of Medinet Habu Temple, Tasneem Palace features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Luxor. Mohammed and Mahmoud are very welcoming hosts! They are always there for you if you need anything and will always invite you to some tea on the roof top and a good talk. they are definitely the highlight of Tasneem palace. Mohammed gave us a 2h tour around the village and taught us about Egyptian life. The guesthouse itself is new and beautifully made! it truly is a palace with the lush garden around. you‘ll have a living room, a terrace and a bedroom with bathroom all to yourself. you can have breakfast or even a dinner at the guesthouse if you like. the wifi is also very good which makes it the perfect place if you are working remotely.
