The Mango Guest House is set in Aswan, 700 metres from Aswan Christian Cathedral and 1 km from El-Tabia Mosque. The Mango house is incredibly beautiful with nicely decorated and very clean rooms. Mr. Hamada was very nice, helpful and hospitable. Elephantine Island is a wonderful place to stay, the people there are very warm and kind, we encountered no hustling whatsoever and it felt like we were part of the family.

The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!
