The larger room with kitchenette and shower room was very clean and ideal for a short (or longer) stay in Merida - the location just a short walk from the Museum of Roman Art and the Roman ruins is unbeatable, there is a well-stocked Spar convenience store next door and the secure underground parking (10 Euros a day) is a bonus if you are on a driving tour of the region. The check in process was very easy and the staff are very friendly - highly recommended.

Casa Ruy Lopez is located in the centre of Zafra and next to its main square. It has a restaurant, free WiFi and a terrace. Each room at Casa Ruy Lopez has attractive traditional décor. It's a lovely small hotel in a quiet beautiful neighborhood, short walk to the center of town and you will find crowds. Hostess was so nice, she waited for us since we arrived outside of their regular reception hour. Our room was spacious and well decorated. Breakfast room was so pretty, even the utensils were packed in a lovely handmade pocket. Breakfast items were delicate and delicious.

Super friendly greeting on arrival with lots of local information from Francisco. Great location, short walk to centre of Merida and short walk to the river for walking the dog. Quiet at night. Small supermarket opposite. Excellent value for money and spotlessly clean. A kettle would be useful in the kitchen. Parking was easy in the Jose Fernandez car park using the Telpark parking app and reasonable E8 for 24 hours. 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
