Hot shower, air conditioning and good wifi. He knows how to treat European tourists. See you in Las Ramblas!

It was such a welcoming and peaceful place, set in an incredible part of the country. Communicating with the hosts was very easy and they were very flexible to helping with changing requirements. Great surfboard selection too. Highly recommend.

Java Turtle Lodge Meru Betiri está a 4 min a pie de Playa Rajegwesi y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. Haddi and staff can’t do enough for you. There is much to see or do but it not usual holiday place. I stayed for 8 days and was so well looked after. Don’t miss the turtles but so many other things to see and do. If you want nightlife not for you but if want to connect with nature this is the place. Haddi is doing an amazing job from a fisherman to someone building ecotourism and looking after his home village can’t rate it enough. Food every day is amazing and he rents a scooter as well you can see and do so much. Can’t wait to go back.

This was one of our favourite places to stay during our trip. The chilling area on the first floor is so nice! It has a real cozy atmosphere. The double rooms are wonderful, it feels like glamping. We had to fight for the upper room going up with the ladder ;-) There are two bathrooms, this is enough for the number of rooms. They were clean and the view is great when you are taking your ‘outside’ shower! The owner is vey friendly and organised our trip for mount Ijen and the transfer to the harbour. No hassle… Breakfast was simple but good quality. Staying in a real bamboo house was very special to us. We would definitely have loved to stay more nights if it would have been available!

Mi Casa - The gem of Ijen se encuentra en Banyuwangi, a 31 km de Watu Dodol, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Everything was fantastic! Marc and Erica are friendly and they tried their best to make us feel at home. The food is great, especially the banana pancakes in the morning ! The location of the guest house is close to the Ijen which is about a 30 minute drive. We also joined a tour of the Ijen organised by the guest house, which includes a local guide and the transportation to and from the guest house. The guest house in itself allows you to fully relax and recover by the pool or the small huts with comfortable sofa's. They have plenty of animals (otters, a goose, friendly cats and a dog) wandering around making you feel like you're in a national park.
