The moment I walked into this home, I wanted to live there and never leave. It's a breathtakingly gorgeous home that's been made into a comfortable haven for travellers. There is an unmatched serenity to the place which is not only embodied in the lounges with fireplaces, comfy chairs, and homey touches, but the location is perfect. The crisp mountain air, the stillness, the fresh spring INSIDE the hotel! All make this a unique, fantastic, wonderful place to stay. Other reviews have mentioned a hard bed. While this is the case, it's not uncomfortable, and the duvet and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud

Móinéir House situa-se em Kilkee, a 16 minutos a pé de Kilkee Beach, e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um salão partilhado. Parece que estavamos em casa. Foram muito acolhedores e simpáticos. Deram bastantes sugestões para passeio. Estava tudo impecável. Desde a estadia ao pequeno almoço.

The room is spacious, well designed with the great view, very comfortable bed. The host is so lovely and she prepared us the best Irish breakfast ever. Plus as a treat tasty lemon cake. Location is great, just walking distance to the ocean.

Sycamore Lodge localiza-se em Kilkee, a 29 km de Farol Loop Head, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. John was the most welcoming host from the moment we arrived. He went above board to give us the warmest welcome by making tea and serving up the most delicious home baked goods that he had freshly prepared himself. My partner is gluten and lactose intolerant and he made baked goods to facilitate this. The breakfast in the morning too was so beautifully presented and such a wide range of continental offerings along with the most delicious offering of hot food. Once again John went to great efforts to ensure my partners dietary requirements were catered for. The BnB is a beautiful house….just out the road from vibrant Kilkee. All the rooms are very tastefully decorated and you feel relaxed and at home as soon as you walk in the door with the beautiful decor, relaxing music and aromatherapy. The bed was so comfortable and we both had a very peaceful night sleep. John had recommended local bars and restaurants to eat in and also recommended a beautiful walk along the coast that was truly spectacular- especially being the beautiful balmy evening we had when we were there. There is a lovely garden around the house….was so glad i had packed my yoga mat….found a lovely corner to do some evening stretches. Plenty of on-site parking. Very handy for getting the ferry the next day. We actually regretted our stay was so short as we really felt at ease and comfortable at Sycamore lodge. It has been the best place we have ever stayed in Ireland in terms of comfort, value for money, location, delicious food and home baked welcome treats (meringue to die for!) but most importantly the hospitality John showed was 5 star. Thanks so much to John for a lovely stay! Without a doubt we will be back!
