Situated in Gangtok in the Sikkim region, Bungkhim Homestay has a balcony. While the room and facilities were just what you can reasonably expect for this price, what really sets Bungkhim Homestay apart is the family who runs it. After many hectic and stressful months, from the moment I arrived I felt some inner peace settle, brought on by the warm welcome, sitting together companionably and our chats. That's not to forget the lovingly prepared and delicious breakfast. When they found out that I am vegan, they immediately made sure I got something appropriate. Even at family dinner both me and the other guest were included as if we had always been a part. When a mud slide cause the road back to Bagdogra to be blocked, their daughter and son in law actually brought me to the airport. 7 hours of driving in one direction, just so I wouldn't miss my flight! I am glad I chose Bungkhim and I hope I can visit them again and introduce them to my wife!

Situated in Sombāri in the Sikkim region, Lali Gurash Homestay - Okhrey features a garden. It is located 6.7 km from Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary and features free shuttle service. Lali Gurush Homestay was one of the best Holidays I ever had. The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.

Set in Pelling, Phamlhakhang Ecohomestay features accommodation with seating area. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. I loved the balcony and the view the of Kanchenjunga and the other mountains from the balcony. I loved the food everyday and all of the hosts were extremely nice. Uncle took me to his monastery one morning and offered to help me explore other parts of the area too, I really appreciated that. I loved sitting in the balcony at night and seeing the lights from other houses glisten in the distance. The homestay had a very relaxing and had a peaceful energy and I hope to visit again. As a bonus, the bathroom was very nice with amazing water pressure and a very big water heater.

Set in Gangtok, Monratino Ridge View is a recently renovated accommodation, 1.9 km from Enchey Monastery and 2.3 km from Palzor Stadium. Rooms were clean and beautiful. There was good view from the common balcony. And Prabhat bhaiya helped us with a lot of things. Highly recommended to stay here.

Situated in Namchi, within 45 km of Happy Valley Tea Estate and 46 km of Mahakal Mandir, Hidden Cottage features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Very comfortable bed and delicious food. Very helpful and kind!

Featuring garden views, The Sherpa's Abode offers accommodation with terrace, around 700 metres from Ganesh Tok View Point. Everything!! The Sherpa family are amazing, and the staff at the hotel go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nima organised a local driver for 3 days who took us to markets, local sight seeing and all the way back to namchi/pelling. Our Gangtok trip wouldn’t have been so amazing/easy without their help. They even lent us jackets for Tsmogo Lake. Aunty’s cooking was so delicious that we ate at the home stay every night. Coming from Australia, we were a bit bewildered with how far apart towns and cities are and they explained and recommended how to do Sikkim after Gangtok. The view from the home stay is incredible, so glad we chose here at the top of the Gangtok hills for the views
