Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. Picturesque Cottage with beautiful surrounding, sheep, birds and ducks by the lake. Comfortable bed, good shower, kitchen fully equipped and an outdoor BBQ. Few mins drive to supermarket. We had a mechanic issue with our rental car, the host was very nice and let us stay extra few hours and came to rescue us, drop us off in town to wait for a replacement car.

The guesthouse has a really good restaurant on-site, and a small but very nice spa area. Of the places we stayed at during our recent trip to Iceland, this was definitely one of our top favourites.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. Our tiny house was super cozy. Isabelle, the host was very kind. She was a life saver because our car brpke in the middle of the road and she waited until late night to check us in. Also, the next day she kindly offered and gave us a ride to the nearest city where we could rent a new car.

We booked a lodge for 4 days but due to a snow storm and closed roads we stayed an extra night. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They gave us dinner and breakfast. Apart from their care they are truly passionate about their work. They are building new lodges that look amazing. Our lodge was cozy and had everything we needed. To those who read this: book here and you won’t be disappointed.

Spotless clean, with all the facilities you need, super comfortable when travelling with friends. The best accommodation we had on our roadtrip in Iceland, would stay there again.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. Domačica nas je ljubazno dočekala i uputila u sve sadržaje objekta te ispekla za nas i ostale goste svježi kruh :). Sve je bilo čisto i ugodno, kreveti udobni, kuhinja dobro opremljena. Parking je u dvorištu, mirnol okruženje, lokacija nama baš na putu do idućeg odredišta.

Situated in Seyðisfjörður and only 3.9 km from Gufufoss, Túngata apartment features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. lovely hosts, excellent location, comfortable place. so close to the public park, kids will love it.

Featuring river views, Hjartarstaðir Guesthouse offers accommodation with patio, around 37 km from Gufufoss. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.... This guesthouse was absolutely beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. The views were amazing! We stayed during a bad wind/weather storm where the country declared a "no travel" day. The host allowed us the check in a couple of hours early because of this which was very helpful. Although we were "stuck inside" the majority of the afternoon with hurricane force winds, this was the place to be stuck!
