The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

The location is perfect as it's just around the corner from Selfoss' central roundabout, so you'll find it easily and have a great base for exploring Iceland's beautiful southside. Also, you can drive to Reykjavík in just about one hour.

Beliggende i Hveragerði i det sydlige Island-område, Sigga's Feriehuset har balkon. Sigga was such a nice, kind, helpful and overally great hostest and she makes terrific breakfast. Her home is beutiful and so cozy. We had a really nice stay and we prommised to come back to Iceland again. And when we do that, we will stay with Sigga again, because it's definitely worth it.
