La casa está completamente reformada y su historia (que podréis leer en un póster enmarcado en el comedor) es muy bonita. Desde nuestra habitación se podía ver el mar entrar en el fiordo, escuchar las gabiotas...fue precioso. En cuanto a la casa, la compartimos con un grupo de 4 amigas, que se alojaron en la planta superior, y una chica que viajaba sola, que se alojaba en la planta inferior. Pese a ser 7 en la casa, los espacios son suficientemente grandes y cómodos para todos.

The Old Bookstore está en Flateyri, a 21 km de Pollurinn Hot Spring, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis, cocina compartida y salón de uso común. Generous included breakfast, super friendly and helpful host. Beautifully furnished rooms with lots of love and character. View was stunning. It's a long drive to the West Fjords, but we felt it was worth it for such a special place.

It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

Very bright inside because of many windows around the living room and kitchen area. Fully equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms and a bathroom.

This extraordinary apartment is a hit! Central location, parking lot at the house, everything clean, imaginative and lovingly designed in a historic building, cosy! The kitchen is well equipped, also with everyday necessities ... exceptional: A special drawer with all conceivable spices! You will find various wines and soft drinks (white wine and rosé well chilled!) - the wines at pleasant prices and the soft drinks for free! It was a special pleasure to meet Gisli, the owner: such a warm and lovable man! He personally guided us through the house, the original domicile of his ancestors, and had a lot of interesting things to tell...everything here is exceptional! Note: There is a good bakery and cafe nearby. There is nothing negative to say! This was maybe the best accomodation on our two weeks trip to Iceland.
