He allowed an early check-in with no problem, and we also shared a nice dinner with him and his family after he invited us. He also had great recommendations for Beppu, including some incredible onsen that don't show up at the top of Google. The room itself was great, one of the more spacious hostel rooms we had with really comfortable futons, and a nice view of the city. A true hostel experience!

The food and service were exceptional. It was really great to have some prepared food and some to cook ourselves. All fresh and delicious. Good location with beautiful views. Very relaxing and loved some of the smaller activities available. Room was the perfect size and great setup for the views and with bathroom and eating area.

Two types to choose. -Staff is very helpful and his english is very good. He offered us the service to drive to train station. That really helps saving our time and energy! -Room is clean and comfortable -Nice weather with great adventure while walking ~1 km from Yufuin station to the hotel.

I feel that the hospitality was really good.

The house is very spacious and has the most comfortable beds & blankets. I couldn't sleep on my back side since I had slipped & injured my tailbone a week before. But I could on this bed! The washing machine is also an actual dryer in one!

This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

She gave us super good tips about the surroundings, and helped us always smiling. The place is a work in progress as she says, nonetheless we were really really comfortable and the room walls were just beautiful.
