A Guesthouse En é uma casa de temporada situada em Maki, Shiga. A estação mais próxima é a Estação JR Omi-Hachiman, localizada a 12 minutos de carro. I felt like a true Japanese person here. It is so peacefull here and you stay in a house that has every Japanese characteristic you seek. I really want to go back to absorb more peaceful ness. Thank you so much, ありがとう ございます

Situado em uma antiga residência de comerciantes locais, o Inase Otsu Machiya Bed and Breakfast está situado em Otsu, a 700 metros do Templo Mii-dera. Todos os quartos dispõem de TV de tela plana. It was a cosy Ryokan in a cute town. The host was lovely, helpful and professional. It was fun to chat with her everyday and the breakfast was so delicious. The area is interesting to explore, hopefully next time I can return and pre-book the gourmet restaurants run by local chefs. It is nice to take the train to the neighbouring towns as well as it runs by the lake Biwa.

It was our first onsen experience and it was superb! You have a very great view of the lake. Room is very spacious. It's our first time as well to stay at a traditional Japanese room, wear yukata and it was a great experience. Excellent dinner and breakfast. They can pick you up at the train station which is very convenient.

We booked this property with a bit of hesitation as there were very few reviews on booking.com and we didn’t regret it a second! It is in a very peaceful residential area, quiet, restful night’s sleep is guaranteed which was very important to us. The house is warm and cosy as we had a bit of a cold weather it was important. We felt at home and had a great base to explore the city of Kyoto, Otsu and all the surrounding area. There’s everything you would need in a household and more. There’s also a nice garden which we couldn’t use due to the cold weather. The owner is a very sweet attentive lady and a great host who took care of every single need of us, so that we felt like staying in a friend’s house. With or without car this accommodation is a great choice to escape the crowds of Kyoto and yet be in 25 min distance to downtown Kyoto. We stayed there for 10 days and explored the whole area. I cannot recommend Sayo’s place enough! I would love to come again sometime.

Oferecendo jardim e vista tranquila da rua, o Guesthouse Shin está localizado em Omihachiman, a 38 km do Templo Sanzen-in e a 39 km do Monte Hiei. My wife and I are not young folks anymore. The trip to the bathroom during the night was somewhat difficult for us. The bedroom was on the upper floor in the lovely traditional Japanese house. The narrow stairway was challenging for us. There is ample room downstairs and perhaps owners would accommodate a request to put the bedding there.
