Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. This is a beautiful and tranquil ryokan that has a calming atmosphere. It backs to the river and our room overlooked it. There is also shared eating spaces adjacent to the river. It is extremely clean, has a shared cooking area with mostly everything you need to make your own meals. The onsen was incredibly relaxing and spa-like. There are also laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is just a short 8 minute walk from the train/bus station. Our family of 5 (kids ages 7-13) absolutely loved it and would definitely return to stay here!! And the price for a ryokan/onsen is unbeatable. Plus, with the Jogasaki coast, Mt Omuro, Zoo and waterfalls, there is plenty to do on the peninsula and it’s easy to get around.

Atami Sekaie er staðsett í Atami, 2,6 km frá Atami Sun-ströndinni, 25 km frá Hakone-Yumoto-stöðinni og 35 km frá Shuzen-ji-hofinu. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Marina Bay Atami er staðsett í Atami, aðeins 500 metra frá Atami Sun-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Everything was great! 4 adults and 4 kids stayed there perfectly. Apartment was clean, had plenty of towels, disposable toothbrushes and body washing sponges. The manager was super nice, and the location was very convenient. We didn’t have a car, but everything was so close, so we didn’t need it anyways. We had amazing view of spectacular fireworks at the roof top!! I can keep going for many more positive experiences. We will be back!

熱海温泉 実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.5 km of Atami Sun Beach and 31 km of Shuzen-ji Temple. Very nice staff, helpful and always there for useful information. And the owner lady offered car drop off to the nearby train station after we checked out.

Eat&Stay ROMEY er staðsett í Suruga Ward-hverfinu í Shizuoka, 12 km frá Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival og 50 km frá Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA. Það er með útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. Romey is an absolute legend he is one of the best hosts we have had, he made us feel right at home and feel like guests at the same time. Highly highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting a fun getaway in a not so busy part of Japan, really makes it all worth it!

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The owners of the gutesthouse where super friendly, i felt like home there. They helped me with the planning of short trips around the peninsula, gave me a lot of tipps and answered all my questions. If i could, i would have stayed much longer! The village is very calm and peaceful, and with a short trainride you can go to all the other villages and places around the peninsula. I really enjoyed my stay here! Best guesthouse in japan!

Hostel Knot er staðsett í Shuzenji Onsen-hverfinu í Izu, nálægt Shuzen-ji-hofinu og býður upp á sameiginlega setustofu og þvottavél. There was a great small onsen right around the corner, the shower was great, we loved the capsule beds. I could have used a little thicker mats, but really nice. The staff was amazing.

Guesthouse SORA er staðsett í aðeins 42 km fjarlægð frá Koibito Misaki-höfða og býður upp á gistirými í Minamiizu með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og sameiginlegu eldhúsi. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.
