First of all, that's not a soulless hotel for privacy, that's a cozy house that's being serviced by a very heartful landlady. A place where you can dive into an atmosphere of family with deep conversations during the meal or tea. About the house: there's a safe place to park a bike. A terrace and a rooftop (!) to enjoy the sunsets or city views or to sit alone and read a book. By the way, there's a decent library of English books in the house! About the room: it was the biggest bed I've ever seen. Not a king-size, a sheikh-size 😅 AC and everything was great. Breakfast was included, and you may ask for a dinner as well, and for the reasonable price landlady will cook it for you. National cuisine, very tasty! Situated within 1.9 km of Bambalapitiya Beach and 2 km of Kollupitiya Beach, Srilax features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Colombo. It was very clean and well designed. And the cafe downstairs is amazing. Also staff there is very kind and helpful.

Ice Berg is set in Mt. Lavinia . Guests staying at this apartment have access to a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment features flat-screen TV, 1 bedroom and a living room. We had a very good experience. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. They helped organize our airport pickup as well as a tuk tuk to the train in the morning and a wonderful home cooked breakfast as well. We are very happy with our stay. Would highly recommend.

Located in the suburbs of Colombo city, 55TG Boutique Suites offers an authentic home stay experience in a two story 1920's period house with a garden, outdoor pavilion, living room and a lounge. This is an exceptional place to stay. Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, wonderful staff and amazing food. I cannot recommend Villa Saltasia highly enough. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Close to both Sinhalese Sports Club and The Independence Square, Urban Bliss Studio is situated in Colombo and has a hot tub and garden. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming, making our stay in Colombo memorable. Not to mention their cute pooch, Pebbles, who added to the homely vibe. The room exceeded our expectations with what might be the comfiest bed we've ever slept in, ensuring restful nights. Our single morning was greeted with a delicious breakfast, a perfect start to our day. If our travels weren't taking us elsewhere, we'd have extended our stay without a second thought. A place we'd eagerly recommend for those seeking comfort and warmth in Colombo.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Sayura House offers accommodation in Colombo, 3.5 km from Asiri Surgical Hospital. Free private parking is available on site. We really liked the hotel. It is clean, quiet and beautiful. The polite and kind administrator helped a lot and left a very pleasant impression. We liked Sayura House so much that decided to stop here again on our way back :)

We couldn’t have picked a better place to start our Sri Lanka trip! The home is beautiful, the rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean! The best part of our stay was definitely meeting Glenn, Fiona and Sita! Glenn was soooo helpful in giving us recommendations for our trip as we didn’t have anything planned out. Glenn and Fiona went above and beyond in helping us even after we left their place. They are genuinely so caring and kind-hearted :) Glenn even gave us a ride to the train station early in the morning as we couldn’t get a tuk tuk in time. The breakfast was also delicious!
