We recently had the privilege of staying at the AHAVAH in Mauritius, and we are enchanted by this hidden gem! The accommodation is quite exquisite, tastefully decorated, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail, from the thoughtful amenities to the pristine cleanliness, truly impressed me. Waking up to the gentle sounds of birds and the warm Mauritian sunrise on the terrace was a wonderful experience. The beautifully landscaped gardens and cozy outdoor seating areas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. It's an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. The true magic of AHAVAH, however, lies in the genuine warmth and hospitality of its hosts, who treated us like family. Their personalised care and attention to our needs and preferences were unparalleled. ASHLEY and his parents went out of their way to ensure that our stay was not only comfortable but also filled with memorable experiences. The private tours Ashely suggested (South of Mauritius with ABISHEK and private boating tour to visit islands with YASH/VIKAS) provided an amazing experience and worth doing. Offering a garden and garden view, Shanti Nivas is situated in Poste de Flacq, 19 km from Le Touessrok Golf Course and 23 km from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden. Jay and Henry were excellent hosts. Their hospitality and kind behaviour was exceptional, their conversations most informative. The breakfast was sumptuous and served with great care and warmth.

Featuring garden views, Casa Frangipani Mauritius provides accommodation with balcony, around 600 metres from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach. The place was very clean and comfortable. Kerstin was such a lovely host and helped us settle in and know other places to get things we needed for our stay like taxis and halal restaurants. We would definitely recommend for any body visiting the eastern side of Mauritius.

Located in Grande Rivière Sud Est, 17 km from Belle Mare, Riverside Holiday Home provides a terrace and free WiFi. Very good location with a perfectly accommodated apartment.

Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The Horisun is a unique family run beautiful little gem in middle of an island full of all-inclusive resorts. It’s not directly at the beach but at a lake and the ambiance and the gardens are beautiful as well as the rooms. The rooms are spacious and all have a lovely balcony and everything is very tastefully furnished. The owners really make you feel at home and are just lovely! If you wish the classic all-inclusive resort holiday this location is not for you but if you’re looking for an unique place to feel home and relax this just the place to go.

Set on the banks of the Grande Riviere South East river, Otentic, Eco Tent Experience offers a glamping experience featuring a swimming pool and a variety of outdoor activities. The Food was authentic and amazing. The Staff was friendly and really helpful. And I love the tent. It was so cozy and the sourrunding area so beautiful with love for Details. I would defently recommend this to everyone that visits Mauritius!

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. We were met at the property, showed to the apartment. A welcoming drink was there for us, we were shown around the apartment and given lots of useful information. Excellent meet and great.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Viccos Villa - Brand New Villa in Trou d'Eau Douce is located in Trou dʼ Eau Douce. The house is located in a new neighborhood just a few minutes drive from the beach. Nice and quiet area which felt very safe. The house is big and airy, decorated with nice new furniture (very comfortable sofa) and everything you need if you feel like cooking. AC in the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Secure parking. The lovely Mehzabine met us when we arrived to give us the keys and to show us around and we also met Vikram the owner. The pool is not very big but everything you need to dip and stay cool.

Located a few steps from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach and 1.5 km from Quatre Cocos Beach in Trou dʼ Eau Douce, Trou d’Eau Douce - Campement pieds dans l’eau offers accommodation with a kitchen. I can highly recommend this property. The check-in process was seamless and the property has a gorgeous view. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the stay here in the East and got to explore the local beaches and eateries. I would recommend this stay to anyone.
