Emilien also creates an environment where everyone talks and laughs together. Plus the location cant be beaten. Youre just minutes from the trou d'argente. It is really a special place.

The accommodation provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, matching the description and photos provided online. The location was brilliant - quiet, with beautiful views. We accessed attractions by hire car which our host, Stefan, organised. He also organised a boat trip for us. Breakfast and evening meal were provided and were delicious. The staff other than Stefan were friendly and helpful, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

It’s tremendously exciting for world travelers to find somewhere very special like Rodrigues Island, 600 km east of Mauritius. Even more intriguing is what the accommodation will be like so far from the populated world. The pick-up from the little airport was faultless despite a common Air Mauritius delay and we were greeted at the Blue Room by John who showed us around and settled us in. The accommodation is simple and entirely unpretentious where everything works, including (now wait for it) wifi that yields, another ‘wait for it’, 320 Mbps! Plenty of water for the shower, hot and cold, with uninterrupted power supply. John can make available a car, a robust 4x4, at rates that, as I told him, are far below market rates. The Blue Room overlooks the somewhat distant Indian ocean that is a short drive away in Anse aux Anglais, down the hill. Restaurant-wise, there’s not a hell of a lot going on in Rodrigues but the local village down the hill offers some animation in the way of two okay eateries and a little grocery store. It’s pretty too. So, it’s a great place to stay (without AC but good fans) and highly recommended indeed. Bravo John!

Hiljuti renoveeritud Eagles Nest Residence asub Rodrigues'i saarel, 1,7 km kaugusel Grand Bay rannast ja 17 km kaugusel Francois Leguati looduskaitsealast. Mr & Mrs Jameson were very warm and welcoming. The cottage is situated on the high where the view is spectacular over the ocean. The cleanliness was second to none. Owner was helpful and felt home. It was my first time at the Rodrigues and can strong recommend the Eagles Nest Cottage. It’s spacious and can easier accommodate a family of 5. The cottage has a kitchen facility where you can prepare a good feast if you don’t feel like going out.

Létan Lontan asub Rodrigues'i saarel, Püha Gabrieli kirikust vaid 1,3 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum ning privaatne sisse- ja väljaregistreerimine. The host (Maya) was very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Rodrigues'i saarel paiknev Le Shanoa pakub rannaäärset majutust 100 meetri kaugusel Gravieri rannast. Kohapeal on aed, baar ja teised mugavused. Le Shanoa is perfectly located by the ocean 😊 It is a beautiful place. The villa was clean and neat. Me and my mother had a beautiful stay in Rodrigues. Clara is such a lovely person, kind, helpful and bubbly 🥰 Clara sorted out the car for us that was already waiting at the airport, helped me to find a dentist and gave a lot of useful tips 🤩 Fred is also a nice guy. Not to mention their lovely doggy 🥰
